i use samsung and very happy with it. I am a type that does not replace his phone until it brakes.
another friend went with xiaomi and then switched to samsung, for a simple reason: wanted the latest android OS and wanted the comfort of knowing that it will have access to the latest android OS for the next 3 years.
lastly, do you live in US or another country. who is your provider?
do you care about having unlimited google drive for your photos? if so, then maybe google pixel is another option to look it. i think for time being, having a google pixel phone, means your photos don't count towards that 15 gb limit

Hmm, did not know that about the pixel. Thanks for the info. I have a few different providers at my disposal, that's why I am wondering about the advice. Maybe I will go samsung.

Last update I was able to make 6 months back after that I don't see any update it says there is no new update

In my opinion you should stay with the iPhone it’s more secure then android. you can buy a used one.

I am using One Plus 7 pro, I have used almost 10 smart phones since 2010, this is probably the best for its time. I especially love the popup camera for my level of paranoia.
Wouldn't suggest One Plus 8 and above, those are a lot more expensive

Id recommend the Samsung Galaxy S21 packed with all the best phone tech to date and is probably the cheapest premium device you can buy right now.

The problem with Android phones, whatever you speak and wherever you go, you will see related ads and suggestions on FB and Big G even if you turned of all the mic and camera permissions, lol
