I run a small web designing agency in my country and I have been using Namecheap for like 3+ years. I started with the basic plan which could host 3 websites. I was satisfied with that and upgraded to "Stellar Plus" where you can host few more sites.
In the Stellar Plus package, I have hosted around 8 WordPress websites at the moment and doing fine. And I use Cloudflare too. I will attach a screenshot with the stats of one of my websites hosted in that, so you can get some kind of an idea about the scale and the traffic of those. I can guarantee that a few websites of this scale will do very well with Namecheap.
And people have said in the previous replies that the Namecheap hosting is bloody slow, but from my experience, I am saying that you can optimize your WordPress website to make it load faster. I have good grades in Google Page Speed insights and in other checking tools, so no problem with Namecheap.
Their Live chat is okay but there will be some delays when they reply and if you are not worried to spend like 30 mins to explain your problem and get it solved, then Namecheap is good for you.
And when considering the price, I can say Namecheap is very good. It's a fraction of a dollar per month for a website if you know what you are doing. You have to choose what websites to host there. I bought a Contabo VPS to host a website that has relatively high traffic.
And the other point that I want to highlight is that web hosting is a business that lies heavily on affiliate marketing. Companies like Siteground, Bluehost, Hostgator are spending heavily on this while Namecheap affiliate commissions are relatively low. That is why you find so many articles on the web, focussing on those hosting services.
As a whole, I can say that Namecheap is a good web hosting service and I recommend that.
