Do people still visit the dark web?

You people are basically clueless about the deep web.. For one it is millions of times BIGGER that the surface web where you cry here everyday about google updates & finding new "How do I make money online" methods here.. For that last six years 100% of my income comes from the deep web and it is all 100% legal. You people think just getting TOR and surfing about the public directory is all to it?!!!!.. Get a brain people the public directory you hit with your TOR Firefox browser is NOT the deep web!! Think a MILLION times bigger then google! That is the Deep Web.. BTW.. No PayPal there! It is a whole different fucking universe then what you are on now with your google and backlinks SEO!! Get an onion website and get a clue...

Why don't you guide us, Sir?

lol it's completely legal ti buy although it may be suspicious (As long as you buy legal products or services ofc), it's like if I want to buy a cheap amazon gift card or visa gift card in the deep web for half the price, I guess it's legal (even though you may know "how" the seller got them).
Correct me if im wrong, I've never done this

I think of them the same way I think of legal services offered on the regular net.

The same service there / the same service here

People there / people here

Where's the divide, what's the difference?
I saw illicit stuff being sold on the clearnet. There is a difference when it comes to setting up the business. You can't just get ".onion hosting" and need to spend a while to figure it out. It's also a different audience. More tech-savvy.

I have no idea how many people frequent the deep/dark web every day

i know that there are many teenagers and curious people accessing sites as a way to challenge themselves thanks to internet legends and youtube bullshit...there is a lot of gore and related content on the surface, there are few things that are only available on the deep/dark web

anyway, I don't see any problem in selling a legit service there...someone mentioned ebooks, if there are clients interested, no problem, don't let youtube tales stop you from making money

it is much more likely to have problems with viruses and hackers than being watched by the FBI...worry about protecting your anonymity and data security

YouTube is the worst legal business that is mainstream. You get lucky and then you get demonetized. Haha. Imagine an affiliate network doing it to you. You get $5 per lead and suddenly they drop it to $0.1 or tell you your traffic is not what they want now.

Not trying to be a buz kill, but some states prosecute receiving stolen property where you "should have known" or had "reason to believe" property is stolen. One of the factors is a far below market price.

The chances of visiting the Dark Web are very low
And very few users know about it and have access to it.
It is included in the brave browser by default now.
Its called "Private window with TOR"
And true, most people will only use it as a "proxy" to hide their clearnet IP.
But you can access onion url's from the brave browser. And it takes no complicated installing.

I have visited often years ago just out of curiosity but I don't see any reason now to do it.

I don't. There is nothing for me in the dark side of the web

While some of the stuff is posted publicly, there are also mountains of private data on top of that which is only available for private communities.

I guess it (the dark web) offers more of what people desire (legal or not) without judging for their beliefs and desires.

Other than drugs and weapons which I am not interested in, whatever I find in dark web, I find it better in the clear web.

yes, those guy who sell illegal stuff
