How do you go about promoting your website on Reddit?

I have no idea, but I will try in entertainment niche.

Only if your niche is a "viral" one, which is not the case in 92% of real situations with client work.
As the person mentioned a method - that actually does the job regardless is viral or not. I am not sure if users have real high expectation rather getting started at first and see the minimum results. People who has high expectations should plan very high and long term / invest time/ resource which very few does so average expectation is good for starter. :)

It does not needs to be 100k in 2 months rather narrow down the niche and hit 20k in 2 month is quite achievable and the respective results from the subs won't be heart breaking at all.

Got me curious now (note: I never did anything related to free traffic sources, I'm all about PPC, so don't hate on me).

Can you give me an example of... idk... like - plumber. You got a client who's doing plumbing in Berlin, Germany, what do you do with reddit?

You need create a name for yourself on subreddits , then subtly promote websites when relevant to ppl's threads/questions etc.

I found that in different media people will even upvote your comment if the suggested product has helped them.

Yeah that's the trick , to make people think you are helping them when you sell them something. If you try to promote/advertise/sell something totally irrelevant to someone's need you are digging yourself a hole.

Getting your own subreddit is the best way to get traffic, but it takes a long time to grow one. I suggest buying one in the BHW marketplace.

Thye Banned by Subreddit and my account too. :) They are too strict.

I can't give any recommendation, reddit always banned me at the end... It's one of the hardest place to do soft selling too :D

I spammed reddit with cpa hacks and it sticked for months.

I've never promoted site on reddit, but I promoted my service, a lot. And didn't make any money, if you want to promote a site, then do it with FB ads, I think that's better

The time we spend wondering how something works, if we only invested a small part of that time in creating, in this case, it’s subreddits, a lot of subreddits, we’d be much easier to come up with an answer.

Yes, who knows how many times I said this, it is not so easy, but it is certainly not difficult and doesn't cost us a single cent!

First of all, as always I will start with myself because I lost so much, for some reason we don't think too much about creating.

  • I need too much time while I create everything I need
  • I need too much time while people start coming
  • I need too much time to be active and have no earnings
  • I need too much time for everything...

And then the years go by and you realize that you are a damn fool for not doing at least something, posting once in a week, and in time everything would be perfect.

I guess some lessons we will never learn, right?

If we create 1 subreddit weekly, that's 52 new ones in the first year.

If only one in 52 experiences what some of us have experienced on Reddit, the sky is the limit in that case.

Is traffic from Reddit safe from Adsense site???

Use an account to ask some question related to your site. Using another site, you can reply to that question and mention your site in the answer. You can see people already doing this and can copy their style.

Reddit can be good for marketing. If you want to get free traffic from Reddit you need to be social with the subreddits first. Make your sales comments look so natural like you're not selling but advising them. Reddit users can be friendly too

I see, sorry. I was mostly thinking about ways to get traffic fast by posting in places that are already active.

Don't forget about worshipping women and calling men creepy losers.
Lol, this is hilarious asf!
