Best Copywriting course?

Hello,
since there are many trashtalkers and bullshiters on the World Wide Web, I would like to know straight to the point which course on copywriting has helped you out there more. I have been interest on Copyblogger for the past few months, but I would like to know what you guys think is the material(could be a book, course, blogs) that really improves your copywriting skills. I'm not asking specifically one, you could list more than one resource if you wish, and opinion is welcome.

If you're serious about copywriting, I recommend starting with the OG books about advertising and marketing (i.e., The Leo Burnett Book of Advertising, Ogilvy on Advertising, as well as books from Claude Hopkins, John Caples, Whipple, etc.), as you need to understand both very well to be able to sell shit to people. You also need to know what to write and how to structure your copy perfectly, both of which can be achieved by diving into the aforementioned resources.

From there, you can move to other stuff like On Writing by Stephen King. Agora's Big Black Book is also a great resource that's full of shit you can apply.

As for online resources, you ought to take a look at MakeALivingWriting.com (a great blog for beginners) and Copyblogger (which you mentioned in the OP).

Another piece of advice would be to check successful copy, such as Gary Halbert's newsletters, and analyze every sentence. Repeat that process enough, and you'll have plenty of copy templates in your mind.

Also, remember that copywriting isn't just about writing; it's also about research and data analysis. You need to understand your audience if you wanna appeal to them, so spend some time learning how to analyze data.

Finally, my best advice would be to practice the shit out of it (write a blog, tweet, offer your services for free to gather feedback, etc.). Copywriting is all about practice. After all, anyone can write, but not everyone can write copy that sells. You need to stick around and practice long enough to become a good copywriter.

I did a copywriting course on Udemy that was quite comprehensive. It's called Copywriting Bootcamp. I think you should use that to get started with copywriting; the presenters are fun to watch and the content is insightful.

Don't buy the course at full price though, wait for the discount. The website offers like 90% off deals multiple times a month. Good luck!
