But i'm wondering is it bad to use endscreens since it will increase the amount of impressions on the video but if they dont end up clicking the video it will lower the CTR for the video

In February my channel got viral and yt pushed my videos, but in march my views dropped off 55% compared to february. And now the impressions and views are much lower than they used to be. My content is quality and it hasn't changed. What are your thoughts and what would you do in this situation? Thank you for your replies

Tags are not that important anymore. I sometimes compare it to how Google removed the keywords meta tag. You need to focus on retention rate, user engagement signals

You could copy some of the tags from popular videos in your niche, that helps sometimes. But it doesn't play a big role anymore.

Nope! Not a bad idea at all. You would definitely be using YouTube’s full functionalities in order to get videos to take off. Just make sure the video that you end screen is actually a video that people may want to watch. I usually leave my end screens as “most recent video” and “best for viewer”

1. I do get in on in person interviews with new team members just so I can introduce them to my business and get them on board. 2. I pay them however they like honestly. 3. Weekly

It’s hard for me to say without actually seeing your channel but I would just keep doing what youre doing. If what youre doing worked once, then it can definitely work again. A 55% drop is EXTREMELY large though. Were these shorts videos?

Guidelines for when to change a thumbnail/title on a video:


1: CTR> 10%, do not touch it.
2: CTR<10%, but you know the thumbnail is PERFECT, do not touch it. Give youtube some time to recommend it to the appropriate audience.
3: CTR <10% AND average view duration is over 40%, but you know the thumbnail and/or title can be better, change the thumbnail and/ or title.
4: If the CTR is <10%, and you the average view duration is less than 40%, definitely move onto your next video and just let it "die"
 
Ah damn Yea the CTR is less than <10% and the Average view duration is like 10%. Well that sucks that they are dead lol but I did change content from anime clips to top 10 anime content and will be trying to apply for monetisation in 1-2 months time. Hopefully it pays off in the end. Thankyou your time responding to the questions. Really appreciate it

According to alogrithm what is counted ? No. of Peope Watching ? Channel Age ? Channel Subscribers ? What ?
 
I saw your video about how to research for content with an example of lebron james.
questions:
1. if i found 1 video and the channel has below 500k subscribers and millions of views, should i create the same exact content like it?
2. after creating content on no 1 above then i just wait for the video getting views after upload it?
3. what if the competition is too high for the content ? should i find another one ?
4. what is the indicator whether the competition is good to make the video?

First of all, thank you for starting this thread! I've read your answers in at least 8-10 pages out the 15. I have a problem, which isn't really unique, but a problem regardless and I have no solution to. I'm in the travel niche where I cannot make videos staying at home. It's usually my friend who films me and I do the concept, story, editing, etc. (basically, everything post production).

So far, we've released two full length videos, and neither of them are getting impressions as much as I'd like. Now, given that we're in a niche that's very time, money, and effort intensive, I have no choice but to keep putting out content and hope something "blows up" and gets my channel exposure. My SEO is on point and I know for a fact that we're producing content that is superior than others in terms of cinematic visuals, sound design, etc.

Is there anyway I can get more views by publishing 1 piece of extraordinary content every 1 or 2 months? I know vloggers who have gained a lot of exposure by posting videos daily/weekly, but this is not the route we'd want to take-- 1) because everybody's doing it; 2) because I'm not very good at talking live; 3) I find it quite boring + low effort.

Also know people who have gone viral many times in the 'cinematic travel video' niche and gained over 100k+ subscribers with only 4 or 5 videos. Is there any way to make the algorithm work in my favour too?

I don't really know where can I ask this question, so...

I decided to create videos that have free stock videos + voice-over made by me. I think it's okay but...
Will I have problems with copyright law if 90%+ of my speech has taken from Wikipedia? I just make educative content.

I made 3 vids 10-15 min each but not posted any yet, please let me know if I go through the wrong way. Thank you.

do you use YouTube seo paid tools, if not I would suggest you to buy and reverse engineer your competition. Youtube is a long term game so I keep making vidoes, add CTA interact with yiur fans, post comments in your competition channel I feel this should gibe you a good start
