When i setup a search campaign i have a good CTR on my landing pages, when i setup a display campaign, the CTR is just horrible, it's like they are all only bots, and a lot of clicks on my landing pages, even if i target keywords or very targeted audiences / placements... What is the problem with display network, how to solve this problem, what is the best way to target "real" people ?
Ok you probably miss the super main point:
- Search --> Intent. Users search for "doctor near me"
- GDN --> Everything is broad match, placement, content-related but most users are just browsing reading stories, thus mostly no intent.
Thus why: GDN is ALWAYS cheaper than search, and CTR if you just google industry standards is always lower and 0.50% is considered decent for display and 2% for search.
What are you doing in place of modified broad match? Before I could just do +Wisconsin +lawyer and add negative keywords and would catch a ton of keywords.
Regular broad match, but just read up on the history of the changes. Nothing is as much about search keywords but intent, thus exact match is not true exact but exact intent based on what google thunks (synonyms etc)
How can I do brand targeting on google Adwords. I keywords represent brands. People are running ads on those keywords. b
If the brand registered a trademark with Google you won't be able to bid at all on it. Google apple ...
Now, google a small "brand" that may have a trademark but did NOT file it with google. There you could bid on the keyword just not use it in the ads and you are good
What is the story with new ads accounts? Why are they getting blocked immediately after setting up first campaign vene when you are using different set of details, phone number, ip, cc, etc?
Because there is something that flags you. Of course, I am certain you want to run BH, as I never once had this issue when setting up tons of new LEGIT client accounts.
Is tracking conversions similar to Facebook where it actually learns to serve your ads to the best audience or is it purely for analytical purposes?
Is the Conversions campaign objective really that much better than Maximize Clicks?
It depends, try it. You definitely want to have enough conversion for the algorithm to work. Also, it depends on what a conversion for you is. The max conversion does NOT Mean you get quality conversions.
So you could end up with more form submits, but shittier quality than with max clicks.
