Which hosting package did you buy? You should set up uptimerobot and check your sites. Even their homepage was down for 30 minutes yesterday. I am getting maybe 10 downtimes daily, each downtime minumum 10-20 minutes.

Which hosting company do you use?
Do your sites open? My sites have been closed for 5 hours. What will we do?
Alexhost is down, all websites are down. you can not do anything. I am looking for another hosting provider.
I just bought and moved sites for nothing. Which company are you looking at right now?

The reason for such events and for being offline, having downtime, network issues.

As same I understand your positions about us service, please understand our side.
We have been dealing with constant DDoS Attacks, and YES we have DDoS Protection, but that doesn't filter everything.
DDoS is a complexed, hardest and gives a headache for any Hosting Provider.
At this moment doesn't exist a DDoS Protection that you can protect your Network at 100%.
Always will be tricks and someone who uses a attack to DDoS your Network, it can be Layer 4, Layer 7 etc.
We recommend our clients to use Cloudflare to hide your Origin IP, that won't block DDoS at 100%
But Hiding IP, can make your website stable. Since this attacks come from every country and is not easy to be blocked and addressed.
AlexHost is in contact our Partners, we are trying filtering and mitigating all Attacks, but it requires time.

I don't understand, if there is such issues with the hosting with constant downtime.
Should you users band together, talk to a mod and to check it's "Quality"
You paid for a service that is not delivering.
I understand DDOS attacks but, this isn't the first time I seen threads complaining about this host's downtime.
Either way, that is what I would do if I was in your position along with finding something more reliable.
Just remember, our Mods/staff does everything they can, but they do also rely on the userbase to help report these things too.
We understand the ddos attack, but the hosting company must find a solution to this problem. You can remove sites that receive ddos attacks and redirect their ip addresses to a different machine. In this way, other sites will not be damaged. the problem is that sites are down for so long. The problem seems to be solved now, I hope it doesn't repeat again.

We don't do any Scams. If you pay, you will have access to it.
That doesn't apply in this case, we delivery the product.
The problem is not in delivering, but in our Network which is under DDoS Attack.
The service is being delivering.
That's what we are doing in the past days..
Is a headache, we are working more hours to solve this attacks.
Like I said, we understand your position.
If someone have the "cure" for DDoS Attacks, please let me tell you any Hosting Company will contract you.
The problem there is that no exists a 100% Protection against such attacks. Did you read about Mirai Botnet that have been take PSN offline? Even PlayStation suffers with that!
What is the difference? They are "bigger than us" they have more capatibility to do it.
We are filtering DDoS Attacks and blocking. It comes from every country.
