Hi, guys!
I'm new here, really enjoying how active this forum is. I did a year or so of white hat SEO, so I guess you could call me a complete beginner at most of the topics on this forum, haha.

Anyway, I've decided I'm going to learn how to use the link building tools that're recommended here often. Trouble is, I'm not really sure how they differ from each other - - I've come across GSA, SEO Robot, Zennoposter etc in the threads, and they all look fantastic, but I'm not sure which one to go for.

So I'm wondering if these tools are more or less the same, or whether they cater to different competencies (example - one being for the 'easy to use' segment, one for people who have a developer background etc)

Are there any roundups and comparative reviews of these tools? Or should I just pick any one and dive in?

most link building tools nowadays are only good for tier 2+ backlinks because the sites used by those tools have been greatly devalued by google. They are still useful if you know what you're doing, obviously, but if you're looking to acquire backlinks for your money sites I recommend you stick to guest posts and quality PBNs mostly... oh, and quality blog comments, too.

Besides, if you do your keyword research properly you can rank without a single backlink at all.

Yes, you're absolutely right, I'm definitely not going to use these on the money site - - I was interested in the tools because I wanted a better way to index and push relevance + authority to the web 2.0s that are built around my client's money site.

in that case the tools will help. I mean, they'll help building up authority, but I'm not sure about indexing

it's always better to use such tools for the 2nd tier,
build your 1st tier manually using PBNs, web 2.0s and guest posts as an example,
then you can power them up using such tools

use GSA with a verified list (can be scraped or bought) to build some contextual links and rankerx to build web 2.0s,
along with some indexing service, you should get some good results if everything is done right

stay away from Money Robot as it's a totally trash and doesn't really worth the time & resources used

Does gsa support customized site list to build links?

Best place to buy best GSA lists ?
Why everyone tells VPS is needed to run GSA - why it is bad to run it on home PC ?

xrumer is still the best by far (in code quality and speed), but also harder to learn. it can post to hundreds of different platforms (not only forums like many people assume) and you can add your own.
is there a guide?

Thanks, I just looked it up. Is there extensive support for it? The website seems a little..minimalist in terms of explaining the products.

it comes with a guide and there is also a support forum.

Can anyone show a link on which was used only xrumer ?

I also checked out the ARGO site creator you mentioned in your signature, it's very impressive indeed. Is it similar to XRumer or more specialized?

its a different type of tool, it creates websites/blogs while xrumer is creating backlinks :)

Do the Xrumer still work?

My score right now (2021)

SAP 7/10
GSA 9/10
SEO Robot 1/10
Zennoposter 7/10 (it´s different to the rest)

I am planning to buy a xrumer package with following:

XRumer 19 Elite

XEvil 4

Hrefer 5 Professional

SocPlugin 4

BlogsPlugin 1

Last BackLink Lists

Is this complete package? If not what else I will need? I got a spare pc so don't need vps.

afaik thats the standard package, so yep thats ok.
