Apr. 7, 2021 | Day 38

Productivity: Published 2 articles today. 1 Amazon Buyer intent article of 3445 words and 1 informational article of 929 words, for a total of 4374 words written today. Very happy with the productivity today! Hopefully, I'll have 2 more days with 2 published articles this week so that we can reach the first week with 10 published articles.

Bro, can I ask something? how about blog don't use the regular domain as com, org, net and use Blogspot and WordPress? if I use domain Blogspot or WordPress is effective to get traffic and people get trusted information from the site?
I don't have experience with it but wouldn't recommend it. If you're having churn and burn type of sites that you need to create every week, yes, but if you want to create an authority site, then going for a trusted .com, .org, or .net will be your best bet. It's much better in the long run.
That's the spirit, man! Keep it going!
Thank you, man! Will do!
Love everything you're doing it and can't wait to see your continued success.
Thank you, man, appreciate the support!

Apr. 8, 2021 | Day 39

Productivity: Published 1 amazon buyer intent article of 2790 words. Did the research, picked the products, and wrote an intro for a buyer intent article for tomorrow. The total written words for today is around 3000 words. Hopefully, I can publish 2 buyer intent articles tomorrow.

Follow this, thanks for inspiration :)
Thank you for following the journey, man, means a lot to me! I'm glad that this journey inspired you! My advice for you is to read the journeys, get the inspiration but don't stop there. Starting your own journey is the most important step to success and the one you should do as soon as possible.

Still going strong I see. :) To my shame, my productivity went to 0 now that I've been back to work for 2 weeks. I've been just thinking about my blog and what kind of articles should I add during this year.

Which gets me to question what's your buy intent to informational content ratio? Do you just write about all the buy intent keywords you've come up with or are you trying to increase other content on your site as well?

As I'm writing this I'm thinking that it shouldn't really matter, but curious to know what others make of it.

Following this.
I have been coming everyday to check the updates. I just never commented :b
Don't give up on this mate. You will absolutely make it.

Apr. 9, 2021 | Day 40

Productivity: Published 2 amazon buyer intent articles of 3385 and 1378 words, for a total of 4763 words written today. Struggled with the second article and made it shorter since it was a bit technical and I have very limited knowledge in the field. I had to recheck everything a thousand times to make sure I don't sound like an idiot that has no clue what he's talking about. Overall very happy with the productivity and the word count for today.

Man, don't stress about the articles and publishing now that you're working, that's to be expected. I've tried doing that shit and just couldn't make myself write a word after a long day of grinding tiles and mixing adhesives. I'm in awe of people who can do IM effectively after their day jobs.

My strategy in terms of the info to buyer article ratio is to publish my buyer intent articles asap for them to get out of the sandbox and start ranking quickly. These are the articles that bring the revenue in, while the info articles are there for topical relevancy, google metrics, easy traffic, and natural link acquiring.

Since I need to get my revenue up until the end of the year, I'm trying to publish as many buyer articles as possible. Both of these are important, but in my case, buyer articles have a higher priority. The main reason why I'm currently more or less publishing the same amount of buyer and info articles is to add some variety and keep the work from becoming dull. I can't imagine writing amazon articles every day since they are so repetitive.

Mate, you don't even know how much this kind of support means to me! I'm glad that you're following the journey so closely and that you got value out of it! I definitely won't give up and I know that I'll get rewarded for it if I keep going and improving!
Same here.
Good luck!!
Thank you, man! Really appreciate the support!

Heh, can't help but stress a little as it's a dream project. :D But thanks for comforting words. I'm buying articles atm and also some links to see if it will change anything. Also keeping eye on ranking keywords, there's some nice amount of #1 coming to light already.

Your logic for putting those buyer intent articles out there is sound I think, I might do it as well for my niche as those things are out there for taking I guess. I want to form some income during this year as well so should cover as much field as I can.

Following your journey man! Good luck with your projects, you are on the right path!

Apr. 10, 2021 | Day 41

Weekly Update #6

Productivity: Published 2 informational articles of 950 and 800 words, for a total of 1750 words written today. The 950 words article is, in my opinion, the best article that I've written since the beginning of the journey. It's one of a kind and has a lot of unique points that I've come up with by analyzing some scientific information. Really proud of that one!

Stats For The Site

I will no longer include GSC weekly updates as the info isn't as current as it is on analytics. I will provide the GSC stats only in monthly updates from now on.

Analytics

A bit of a decline, but nothing major. I checked how the articles published during the journey are doing, and a few of the newly published informational articles are bringing over 10 pageviews a week. There a few buyer intent articles ranking as well, but they tend to climb the SERPs slower, so that's expected.

The buyer intent article that was published before the journey and improved its ranking during this journey has had a lot fewer visits. Possibly it's the new google product review update that I learned of today. The lack of visits to that article is most notable in Amazon.

Amazon

Lowest amazon earnings since the start of the journey. This is the effect of the decline of the buyer intent article I previously mentioned. This doesn't bother me and is not my focus currently.

I enjoyed the higher earnings last week, and this week, I have to accept the decline. That's expected when you have only 1 buyer intent article actually ranking for some relevant keywords. The newly published articles have not picked up yet, but when they do, the real growth will begin.

Productivity For The Week:

Articles published: 10 (6 buyer intent and 4 informational)

Words written: 20585

Compared To Last Week: +5,218 words and +3 articles

The first week that I managed to write 20k+ words and 10 articles. Much, much better than last week and probably the best week in terms of productivity since the start of the journey. This is what matters the most to me, and the low Amazon earnings are just a temporary decline that will soon start really increasing.

Next week, I want to experiment a bit with adding tables to my articles. I did use them before but stopped doing so when I started the journey. The results of some people using tables convinced me to get back to them.

That's it for this week, guys! See you on Monday, and stay safe!

Yeah, buying articles is a good way to keep the ball rolling. That's what I tried doing but wasn't able to afford it for too long. Nice to see that the articles are starting to rank! Hope that you can get to working on the site full time soon!
Good luck mate.
Thanks, mate!
Following your journey man! Good luck with your projects, you are on the right path!
Thank you, man! Really appreciate the support!

Are you building links or have you postponed it for the time being?

Subscribing.

Keep it up mate, definitely too soon to see any spikes in Google traffic.

The Amazon income for the week before and the one before that was just a small appetizer (and a demonstration how well content in your niche can convert) to the numbers that await you once you see this through to the end :).

Are you using Grammarly Pro? If not you should, it will greatly improve the quality of your articles.

Good luck

Apr. 12, 2021 | Day 43

Productivity: Published 1 Amazon buyer intent article of 3827 words. I planned to do the table experiment, and I found out that I would benefit a lot from a paid plugin like AAWP. I'm considering buying it and will decide if I will do so in the following days. Also, I want to apply for other Amazon affiliate countries and create OneLink to start earning from all the traffic. I'll maybe wait for that one as I don't have that much traffic from another tier 1 countries yet.

Are you building links or have you postponed it for the time being?

Subscribing.
I built some links when I first started the site a year ago. I don't plan to build links until I get serious monthly revenue from the site if I start building them at all.

I agree, and as I said, I don't pay that much attention to the stats currently as it's too early, hence the weekly updates instead of daily. I have a lot more articles to write and that's my main focus now. Thank you for the support mate, really appreciate it!

I agree, and yes I use it (the free version). As a non-native writer, it helps a lot. I can write pretty well without it, but with it, my articles sound much better. I've also learned a lot from Grammarly in terms of punctuation, grammar, and all that. I may consider going pro when I get some extra funds. Thank you, and good luck to you as well!
Good luck with your journey OP
Thank you, man, appreciate the support!

Apr. 13, 2021 | Day 44

I won't work today due to some personal problems. I haven't felt this bad in a while, so I need to take a day off and just chill out. Tomorrow, I get back to work.

Apr. 14, 2021 | Day 45

Change of plans. I won't work today either as I'm having some health issues as well. I'm considering taking this whole week off since the problem I have is pretty serious. I may update the thread if things get better. If not, I might rest this whole week.

Taking care of yourself should be #1. Hope you get better soon so there will be more updates to read.
