Hey BHW,

I hope you all are doing well.

In the past few days I tried to get some traffic to my Quiz site with posting my Quizzes into some Facebook groups - as usual.
But the problem is, I didn't got a lot of traffic, maximum 10 visitors or something from posting in 20 groups.
Now I'm not shure if spamming Facebook groups just doesn't work anymore or the group already saw my posts 10x times and that's why they don't interact with it.
I think I also have to mention here, that in the past I got massive traffic with posting in Facebook groups.

What do you guys think are what are your experiences with this? Should i find new Quiz topics, did I maybe got shadowbanned or are my posts just saturated?

Have you checked how is the engagement in other posts of the same group or how many people are commenting or liking other posts in the groups. If you can post and see your post in the group, you aren't shadowbanned but make sure to check how are other posts performing. Good Luck.

You need to be more creative. I've got some groups where I'm the administrator and as you may know, when you've got small engagement to 0 engagement you'll reach very few people, that's most likely the reason why you don't get as many hits as you would want because not that much people are seeing your posts

I checked the engagement on some other posts and you are right, some groups are just dead. But on others, there are some memes about the topic that get 500+ likes. Do you think it could be possible that Facebook ranks my posts weaker because they contain links?

Yes, but I'm asking myself why I'm no more getting that engagement i used to get on my posts.

Because you're not using content that your users may engage with ?

But what surprises me is that a few months ago they heavily engaged with my content.

Then may be it is because of that particular content. Was the content controversial?

If your links lead someone out of FB the engagement will be very low to zero. They dont want people leaving their platform. It helps if you can get some fake comments on the posts and some likes. The more you get the more it will be shown to other groups members on their walls and not just when they are browsing the group.

People get bored seeing a same thing again and again, you need to bring in some variations in your posts to get the lost engagement. Think on it, you can try making some video quizes, they can bring some good engagement for your posts. As this is a hit and trial thing so you need to keep experimenting it till you hit the right spot.

I try to grow it now I think it still works good for engagement, Zuckerberg said he will give more power to groups.
