Keep seeing a lot of chatter about the different AI software that can write great content. Do you think it is anygood?

It depends.

If you direct it you can get good copy.

Think of it as a writing assistant rather than a push button dfy thing .

I always advise on putting your own "voice" on the output otherwise you run the risk of becoming white noise.

Oh and watch out for plagiarism

can't speak for all of the software but the one I'm using is so and so.

Compared to the human brain no content writing software will even come close, that's for sure. But for tier 2-3 backlining where you still need unique content that makes sense it's good. And it can also work sometimes if you take the time to edit the content manually. Quite a few times I have posted content on my money sites that has been generated by this software, but not all niches /keywords are well covered and it did take me a couple of hours to manually edit this content before posting it on my money sites (I am not native English speaker, so it takes me time to edit English content).

If you don't have enough money to churn up a lot of content the software is a good option, but generally - if you can afford it - always use human writers :)

Out of interest what software are you using?

I've tried so many and the vast majority produced so so results.

Settled on 2 atm.

One for short form and one for long form and pleased with what I'm getting, but yes the human touch and adding your own voice is critical.

I'd rather not say which one, if that's ok with you :)

Its all depends on what niche you choose and how well the content has been generated. some niche is working and others are not.

I would not risk it. Google is getting smarter too and penalizations can ruin your whole business.

I've consider this and while I don't have a definitive answer I guess as long as you are fulfilling search intent and have low bounce rate then Google will quite happily steal the content you put out for their snippets.

Time will tell tho...

...but it's another reason why I suggest putting your own voice onto any Ai generated content.

Ps I'm guessing that at least a couple of outsourced content writers are using Ai to create "hand witten content" so If using Ai generated content is a concern then pop over to hugging face and test out any content you get back (It only checks for GPT2 content at the moment, but does pick up patterns in GPT3 quite well) for traces of Ai content ;-)

take a look at gpt-3, some websites ranking for millions of keywords using ai generated content (saw a post couple of days ago, along with too many others in the past),

but don't expect things to be that easy,
if you're really serious about such a thing, you'll have to put some efforts into choosing the right niche, setting up the plugin/software, you'll need to invest in links as well, all along with taking the risk for this

if you have some extra budget and free time for this, I would personally give it a try,
automating affiliate website for example would easily pay off

It's getting better but AI written content is still easy to spot.

There are tools like Articoolo and Article forge supposedly claiming to be efficient at content creation.
But they're nowhere close.

When you see all the gibberish spammy content ranking on gg first page it doesn't make any doubt AI generated content can rank as well

I use Conversion AI lately, and it's been great. But I don't rely on it for 100% of my content.

I usually start the paragraphs with what I want to talk about, and then it generates an idea/text, and then I touch it up, so it sounds amazing.

I did a couple of articles using this method and touched it up in SurferSEO afterwards. It ranks surprisingly well so far.

As long as you add your personal touches to it, it shouldn't have issues.

I use Conversion AI to help me get through writers block and to improve content post-production.

It's a damn good tool, but it's hit on miss depending on the topic you're writing about.

It can speed up your writing and editing for blog posts.

The true power of it is the ability to write PPC ads imo.

Although they are continuously improving their AI to suit long-form content, im sure with time it will only get better.

And what the name of it

it depend for what you are want that content for the google bots or for the users.

If you want a content for the google bot so that you can get google adsense please go ahead.

but if you want that content then I suggest to go for a writer as they have proper skillset for that
