Anyone have invested on NFT yet, is it worth it? Have any of you made real money?

Yea mate sure, it's sure is a big thing and still at it's early stage. Looking at the current situation It will be hyped more and more. I own few NFTs on Atomichub but I have not made any money yet. For something to earn you a lot of money, it must really be in demand.

honestly i still don't understand why its so hyped up. Like why people find it interesting? do you just buy so it can go up in future?

I don't understand how owning something like that digitally is worth anything unless it generates money like a website or provides entertainment like a song or movie.

Imo the majority of people investing in crypto don't actually understand it but just want a piece of the action. Similar thing with inflated stocks like GME and now NFTs. My $0.02 which is generally worth just that.

Check out Alien Worlds blockchain game, it has NFT's that you actually need to use in order to play the game. I invested about $60 when the game first came out in November last year, as of today my NFT's are worth just over 3k.

What NFT is that, Mind sharing?

What really needs to be figured out.. is the proper way to market oneself if one decided to sell NFTs. One thing is to trade and collect... another is to figure out a way to partner, generate, and garner value.

It came to stay, that's a fact. Even tho I don't own any NFT as I don't like any.

I think as with anything, if there is demand it will go up, NFTs are super in demand now, but is it all a hype? What is the inheritant value to owning an NFT. Just today a house sold for 500k NFT - a virtual one. makes NO sense. I dont get how there is a demand and want for a virtual house, especially at this price.

It doesn't have any actual use so it's just a bubble that would soon burst.

It could be a big revenue booster for companies and lots of artists.
Like now in corona and lockdowns - company, team or artist can create NFT like special edition items and get fast revenue.
Or create concert from his home and sell tickets as NFT event and get paid instantly.

If there is a way to make money for company and investors by investing in things like NFT, then it can go up in price.

So NFT or stocks it is all one big hyped thing but as long as people are making money, it will keep going up in value and more money flowing in such markets.

There will be crashed too and burned investors but it is same also going in casino or play stock market. Not everybody gonna win but everybody can participate.

This post here should be a sticky and a reminder as to why you should not take investment advice from anyone on a forum.

I think the potential for NFTs is huge. However, what I'm seeing lately with cryptocurrencies gaining more and more traction is that in many cases technology is many steps ahead of the other parts of the system we live in.

To give an example with NFTs. Yes, you own a digital asset, but how has law developed as a science to protect your rights over this digital asset? To own something means that you can (with the help of the government) exercise your ownership rights.

When we combine the amount of liquidity (money) being pumped in the world economy by (almost) all central banks, we see people buying and investing for years and years in the future, which results in the prices we see today.

I've a bachelor degree for Economics and one of the most fundamental principles of investing, primarily, is to buy something for what it is now and then for what it might become (which when it comes to technology in 99% of the cases is pure speculation).

Rich people who don't know what to do with their money invest in Art. Thats why you were seeing silly strokes of brushes with some random artist's signature being sold for millions the first time, and resold for 10s of millions after a few years in storage. That shit just got digital.
