I found it quite difficult for iOS apps. I tried Google Adwords, but almost no conversations for whatever reason. I might give it a try again.
For Facebook Ads it needs the Facebook SDK, etc. which I found a bit time-consuming to integrate.
Keyapp.top might be a solution, but not sure about the price and the quality.
Depending on the niche of your app you could also give Influencer marketing a try and check the results.

you should integrate a mobile measurement partner sdk into your app. eg adjust, tune, kochava

by this you can track the installs and conversions in all well known ad networks like facebook, twitter, tiktok, snapchat, applovin, chartboost, ...
this is my recommendation -> include a tracking sdk to your apps. by this you don‘t need to implement every ad network‘s sdk as you have it already implemented and are ready to start
