I am a master in procrastinating, so it becomes quite challenging for me to focus on things, mainly daytime. So this is what I do every day, and this is how I start my day. Doing so has done wonders to me.

Have you heard this quote?

"Early
to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise."

Of course, we have, But not many people take it seriously. However, I did, and it changed me completely.

As I told you, I can't focus properly in the daytime; I had to utilize my morning time, which I did, making me productive even though I worked fewer hours.

1) I wake up very early in the morning. 4 am. My body automatically wakes up during this time, as it's been a habit for me. I rarely use alarm unless it's imperative.

2) I give myself a big smile as I am fortunately alive and wake up. Once I wake up, I do simple exercises, yoga, or meditation after a glass of water.

3) Following, I start working on the most tedious tasks that need to be finished to have peace of mind. (4:30-6:30 am)

4) After that, I have a light breakfast and continue working on other tasks using the Pomodoro technique. For me, it's 30-minute work- a 5-minute break(3 cycles), then a 30-minute work 20-minute break. Repeat

5) I do this until around 11.30 Am. Trust me; Until this time, I would have finished almost all of the work. And all the time after this is a bonus.

Great habits!!

I would really like to start waking up earlier, but it was so hard for me each time.

Tell me, at what time you go to bed? And how exatly did you build the habit of waking up at 4 Am? Did you find it difficult at the beginning?

How long do you sleep in a day?
And how did u managed to sleep so early?

I call bullshit on these "I wake at 4 a.m.....and I finish all my work till 11 a.m.......and after that i persue my hobby designing spaceships with a smile on my face"

Bitch please it's nothing better in this world than wake up at 10 a.m after a 9 hour sleep.

Sounds like a plan — the other question is how long a beginner can hold out.

Personally, I built a similar scheme, but it was 7 o'clock in the morning. I lasted only 2 weeks, then came great fatigue and inner dissatisfaction.

These days I just listen to my body, I get up when I want, I do sports when I want and I can work all night if I have an inspiration.
And I have much more success than creating artificial discipline for myself and doing everything according to a precise schedule.

Maybe I'm not an ideal corporate rat anymore :D

I only see one 4 o'clock per day, and it's not the one in the morning!

I get out of bed around 8 am. Pint of water and breakfast, and check the news - see what's going on in the world.

I then have a list that needs to be done every day... check emails, log into my VPS's to check everything is running smoothly, reply to emails etc. Do chores such as clothes washing, wash the dishes, tidy up.

I'm normally done by midday so that's all the repetitive tasks out the way.

The afternoon is then spent on projects and looking for new projects to add to the list.

Question: What time do you go to bed do you do this 7 days per week?
II don't have an exact bedtime. But it's usually 10:30-11:00 pm on weekdays. The bed depends on how many hours I have a rest time throughout the day. In total, I must have 8-9 hrs of rest time including sleep.

The routine is 6 days a week excluding Saturday.
Tell me, at what time you go to bed? And how exactly did you build the habit of waking up at 4 Am? Did you find it difficult at the beginning?
It of course gets hard at the beginning until your body adapts to this habit which may take few days to months depending on your daily activities.

Some basic things that made me easier to wake up early in the morning and create this habit were:

- Not having non-vegetarian foods in dinner or, in general, heavy food at least before 2hrs of going to bed.
- The proper mindset: Making yourself believe that no matter what, you will wake up at your desired time
- Drinking one glass of water, so you have to pee in the morning. Once you wake up for peeing, you don't go to sleep.
- Doing mediation before going to bed may help some people. Also, do not watch scary things at night as it disturbs your sleep.

However, the most strong thing is you need to already have in mind what you are going to do once you wake up. If you don't have strong goals and motivation to wake up early in the morning, it gets 20x harder to wake up early in the morning.

And how did u managed to sleep so early?
You don't have to sleep early to wake up early in the morning. It's all about how many hours your body got rest throughout the day.

Looks like you didn't read the whole post and just want to take the shit out of your brain in this thread. I don't say you have to wake up early, I am just sharing my morning habit as it's Saturday and a little bit of discussion doesn't harm anyone. Peace brother.

Do what works for your body, I am in no way saying people need to wake up at 4 am. It's just if some people have a problem doing work in the afternoon then waking up in the morning may help them.

I normally go to bed around 12AM - 1AM. I wake up around 8AM - 8:30AM. Then I have a shower, get a coffee and then get cracking with work from about 9AM onwards. To be honest this habit doesn't make me feel great in the morning (Until I have had the coffee) and I would really like to change my routine and get up at 6AM, but changing that habit when your body is in the routine is quite hard.

all these morning routines are definitely not for me... by the time im done with the 'routine' i'll feel so accomplished that i just wont do anything for the rest of the day

Exactly changing habit is extremely hard, however, I had an uncle who used to wake up at 3 am in the morning and I got a chance to live with him for 3 months and with his help, I was able to learn the habit of waking early in the morning, And now it feels extremely easy even if I go to bed at 1:00 am if I am having enough rest in the day time.

You have a good plan
