I am planning on buying an Expired Domain, but I am a bit confused about whether to go for General one or a Pure niche site? Also if it is in Niche.. Suggest me some promising niche for monetizing purposes.

Go for specific niche domains possible. Suppose you want to build a site in golf equipment, then an expired about golf is the perfect one, not one in the outdoor or general niche. The reason is, non-relevant domains most likely don't sustain long term rankings.

About the niche, you can "blenders & mixers", "golf equipment", "headphones and audio equipment", etc. There are lots of them, but you need to do hard work in ranking and start making money You'll find competition always if there's money and if it's untapped then no one would share, and soon it will go public too ^.^

With regards to what niche to go for why not choose one that you have a bit of interest in or at least a decent amount of knowledge in. It will be a lot easier to create content and drive traffic to it if you already are familiar with the authorities in that field and the sort of things people in that niche will be looking for.

Picking the niche is the issue. I am more fond of health, tech, business topics... but I just want to know will these would be right choice for Monetizing a blog ASAP.
