Shopify Journey. Aiming for 2K a month

Are you dropshipping or building an E-Commerce brand?

The two have different approaches.

There's a guy on Youtube called the ECOMKING that has a lot of valuable, free content, from A-Z dropshipping. I suggest you take a look.

@Activate please help him. Show him the way. He said he “wasted” money on IG promotions and no sales. Now he’s doing FB ads. What now tho, he needs to make a sale soon or he’s just wasting his money. Broooo

Right now I'm just dropshipping and semi building a brand, I guess.
Thanks, I will check out his channel.

Sir, I know that you're salty and frustrated because you're not successful with ecom. However that's not a reason to tag me on stupid stuff.

I didn't mean it in a way of losing money without gain. Rather that IG promotions don't really work that well in my opinion and experience. Not just the one I have done, but also in the past.
I get more reach on FB ads than anything I have done on Instagram so far. Also, I never said I need to make a sale soon, I believe I will make a sale soon :).

I've got all the time in the world to reach my goal, I don't care if it takes me a year or 5. It's better than not doing anything at all and so far i have learned a lot.

hey bro, i read your journey I think you are so close to make first sale. I’m not focused shopify but doing a lot with IG/FB promotions these days. As much as I see , these two platforms for small amount of money brings many visitors to the page but those visitors are not so interested on buying if you don’t have solid website with a lot of social proofs. Maybe you should try google ads to make first couple sales and invest more on your site and then start FB/IG promotions..

bro, why not try to help him tho? you say that DS + facebook ads is thriving so hard. why will you not defend it tho?

I'm adding you to my ignore list mate. You're being such a loser for being extremely toxic just because you're unsuccessful with ecom. Hopefully you'll grow up soon.

lol....

alright, guess i should give OP the advice then. OP what you should do is pay very little to ads and promotions. i highly suggest doing more market research and more research in general. do not spend money on any ads or promotion right now

I have done some research. But the most research I do now is targeting people that are interested in online shopping, luxury items, jewerly etc. So far I'm getting the reach but now after lowering my prices I'll see what happens. I am in no rush, this is just a little side-business, I have a very well paying job thank God.

that's good. but OP be careful you don't waste money on advertisements and promotions. that's where dropshipping really fucks everyone all over the place. i highly suggest do not pay anything for those ads. right now i think you are still in the research phase. you should not be building any stores or buying any ads right now

You said you want to learn more about the Facebook pixel...well, to start off, you should implement your pixel into the Shopify store ASAP before you launch any further ads through the Facebook Ads Manager.

Surprisingly, I agree with PBNSurprise for once. You really shouldn't be experimenting with ads at this stage.

Please watch the YT videos of the person I recommended in my last post before you go any further.

That's not how it works. The pixel needs to collect data, and it collects data through user events on your website such as clicks, purchases, add to cart, etc.

Your new site probably isn't getting any conversion events, so what's the pixel gonna track? There's nothing to track.

It's clear to me that you lack basic understanding/fundamentals within DS, Ads, and Shopify in general, so I'm gonna refer you to my first post on your thread one more time. Please watches the YT videos for your own sake, it'll 100x your current knowledge and provide you with direction.

Well I did say that this is my first time and I'm learning.

I did what you said.

However, I used LinkGrow to scrape e-mails off Facebook and Instagram and will use these to send promotional e-mails to. I'm using Valentine's day with a 15% discount code to lure potential customers.
