Do NOT ask to be promoted. Members are nominated based on their content, knowledge, activity and conduct on the forum. Begging for a nomination is not allowed and is likely to result in a warning or infraction.

If you have a complaint or wish to appeal against a warning or infraction, POLITELY ask for clarification from the mod who gave you the penalty.
Admins and mods will not overrule another mod's decision unless there are exceptional circumstances.
MOD SURFING / ABUSE:
The following counts as mod-surfing and will result in your account being infracted or banned for mod abuse:
- Sending the same PM to multiple mods
- Asking the same question multiple times to get a different answer
- Trying to jump queues by emailing or skyping mods
- Asking mods to remove another mod's infraction
- Complaining publicly about a specific infraction or mod
