I know this place exists to funnel people to buy PBN links from the Avengers or Lady Gaga, but I'm not convinced long term that's a good idea. I'm a bit low on cash but could invest 1k into linkbuilding since I write all the content myself. What do you all think? I would be doing outreach with ahrefs+hunter and trying to cut out the middle man that way

Well if you write the content yourself and you want to build a PBN, that will be very cheap, as all you have to pay for is good domains with SEO power. Bear in mind though that the content to be written for a PBN will be quite a lot!

I have a website I want to purchase links for, what do you think? Worth it?

I doubt it is a good idea for YOU to invest $1,000 into link building if you are a bit low on cash. You probably don't understand the topic enough to get enough value. It certainly CAN be worth it and CAN get you a nice return on your investment, but it might also be harmful to you and be worse than flushing your money down the toilet. I would start out very slow personally if you are convinced you need to purchase backlinks for your project and try to actually understand the results fully before investing more.

Unfortunately mate, backlinks are trial and error. I've had to burn through cash to see the most effective ways. For example you get a lot of people on here saying "get no follow links with do follow"

Well, I've tried it, no follow links had 0 improvement in rankings. I've also tested on sites and got 100% do follow to see if diversity was worth it, nothing bad happened, rankings flew as normal. To me, no follow are absolutely pointless and a 100% waste of money. Others will disagree.

I've also spent money on guest posts from decent legitimate sites with decent traffic that I outreached to myself, utter waste of money. They do help, but they are nothing compared to PBN links, and I mean absolutely nothing :)

My personal advice is, buy good PBN links, and if you want guest posts and other backlinks, do it the white hat way. I will never spend money on links that aren't from a PBN again. For the time being, i'm still learning, trying to get review copies of backlinks on my test sites at the moment to keep myself updated with new strategies.

That is what many link builders do and is a smart way to build out your backlink portfolio.

I suppose I need to stop asking questions and start reaching out. I've heard quite a few different answers from 20-100 per link using this method which could be pretty good considering I could vet each link option.

What kind of site do you have? What are your long term goals?

If you're low on cash, it's going to be my guess blowing $1k on links is probably not a good idea.

hahaha this is too funny. thank you for the giggle. although not entirely true. i can see why you think that.

so unfortunately, 1k aint gonna bring you much. as time moves on links become less and less vlauable because everyone's link count grows. given this, it can still be done and spun content can still outrank webmd with enough votes.

wiht that said, 1k aint shit nowadays. but is a good start. in my experience links almost always return my investment in the long haul, i just sometimes dont know it until way down the road. so double that 1k and go for 2k on links and you should see a nice return

Hi mate - Agree 100% with everything you just said.
Who here would you recommend for PBNs?
Cheers

IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

Trust me bruh I thought the exact same thing like you know. I just burned cash along the way. Save your money, get away!!

You need like 10k$ at least. ok maybe im exaggerating. half of that and it's not even 100% guaranteed. It's a tough business and your heart will sink if you do it wrong. If your new to this game there will be 100% chance of doing it wrong which I learned last year. If you need the money or you don't have money after using 1k don't spend it on SEO. It's just burning furnace for your money.

Tried quite a few, all were absolute shit. No offence to the sellers, but they were overpriced and little power.

I tried @splishsplash PBN network and my rankings soared like a bird. His PBN service is the only one I use, for context I was getting around 10 clicks per day without his service, then I started spending about $70 per month on his service, after 2-3 months I was getting 180 clicks per DAY from google. And I only had around 20 (1500 word) articles on the website. And his PBN was basically the only backlinks my site had.

I'm still learning backlinks through test websites, but I've never come across power like Splishsplash's domains, I've now upped my spending to $200 a month on his service the other day, and anyone that knows me knows I don't throw around the cash on links.

Your post raises more questions than it provides answers. You tried quite a few, but were they all on the same domain as when you ordered the PBN you are recommending or were they all on different domains? How are you judging the power of the links/PBNs to be able to make a comparison? If you didn't use the same domain, did all of the domains have the same amount of content in niches with similar competition? Obviously it is great that you have been happy with the results, but I am a little skeptical with the way you have presented your recommendation, there are just so many unanswered questions.

Some same domain, some different domains, no equality between them, in terms of judging power, I just judge it. I've been doing websites for years and using different types of backlinks, from guest posts, to syndications, to bookmarks and tiered web 2.0s, to shitty cheap pbns, to moderately pricey pbns. I kind of know when I get a good service now, it's more down to experience of purchasing them than a hard cold test. Websites all different niches, I never use the same niche, would be crazy, similar competition yeah, I don't typically go for hard comp websites, however the one I have used splishsplashes pbn on is probably the hardest niche of all the ones I do, it's still relatively easy though.

I mean you don't have to accept my recommendation, you did ask for it so I gave it. I can see why it looks like im selling something, but I just don't have anything bad to say about it, you can check the reviews on his thread too to form your own judgement.

Edit: You didn't ask for it, my bad. It's 2am... I'm delusional again.

Edit 2: Ok the other dude asked for it, that makes sense now. I knew I wasn't going crazy.

It's hard to find any bad feedback for any link seller on this forum.

My biggest worry is trying to sell the site at a later date and having to deal with a bad link profile.

Thank you DarkSky for your amazing share, it seems that traffic-getting links from PBNs have more weight than no-traffic whitehat, guest post links from high DA sites (not to mention they don't inter-link the guest posts most of the time).
