Traffic jumped up 40-60% sometime after Christmas and has stabilized there since. Before that it was stagnated at around 500 daily PV’s everyday since the May core update.

I have something very similar, I atributed it to Xmas so need time to analyse.
But yeah, a few pages rank for something different.

I have been getting a little more traffic (probably 20% more) for the past 3 days.... Still way down (probably 70%) from the update. I haven't done a deep dive but I think for the keywords that I lost my rankings for... They remain relatively low. But I see that in finally starting to pick up new keywords but yes... I'm also occasionally ranking for keywords I shouldn't be ranking for. For example if my post is about "widget A instructions" I'm picking up keywords for "widget B instructions"
I also have similar experience. Those keywords I lost remains down but new keywords are gradually picking up since Jan 1. Lost close to 50% during Dec update but current on 20-25% gain. Impression are also on an upward trend. However, still observing.

My site's traffic is still in a downward trend.It is indeed a tough time for me!

Care to drop a screenshot of your analytics just to check to get a visual of what you’re seeing?
I noticed the same pattern for 2 of my sites that gained during the December update, now, both sites are downwards.
Not yet since I don't have any long-term data. Give me a few days to see if it sticks (hopefully not).

If SEMrush is a good indicator, the latest update crushed a lot (but not all) Amazon affiliate sites
They've been teasing the affiliate websites for years now and it never amounts to anything, so I assume it's just a temporary f** you guys for using so many affiliate links (and a way to say switch to ads!!).

The google update has been warned months ago on here you need to keep up all of you.
There massive changes with the SEO algo
Example
Speed, server speed of websites are known as an SEO factor.
Domain speed is now an SEO factor
DNS speed is now an SEO factor
Web site design for traffic to look and use all your website is now an SEO factor
Fact writing a factor
Image size is a factor and image compression.
The amount of traffic you keep on each page a new factor.
30 days of indexing a new factor.
Pbn not been tested yet as to early.
If a person got more traffic movement on their page they get indexed above you new factor
You need to use images and video to get user use all your web page
Heat maps are needed 100% to survive now.
SEO algo changing for the people not for the SEO designer/ programmer new uturn
It like the TikTok effect of every 30 days
No one can guarantee an indexing position as the new algo based of 30 days indexing, NO ONE NO WHAT A PBN WILL DO WHERE ALL WAITING FOR GOOGLE FULL UPDATE TO SETTLE
what I can tell you that the big guru has told me directly that SEO dead, what they mean is google algo about speed and website internal traffic that SEO designers programmers got no control over with SEO code or HTML structure.....
Busy websites with great images and content will be well used via people what google wants now, pure natural traffic.
A normal looking blog articles websites there now dead from this update 100% google wants more design out of the SEO optimizer's
Want the traffic to pop in all parts of a webpage and be drilled traffic stay longer on pages.
Google peed of other websites are making to much cash from staying traffic there getting nothing.
So now SEO optimised getting punished with indexing.
That is in a nutshell
So SEO experts need to be image and video designers aswell to survive the new update.
Hosting speed a massive factor so all hosts will need to be very fast optimised or google just say no to indexing u..
This is where money comes in because of server upgrades to keep up.
