so anyways how do i optimize my vids so they always come on top on search results

Use the regular SEO on the youtube video.

1. Keyword in title
2. Keyword in tags
3. Keyword in description
4. Most important - backlinks

Rating doesn't make a difference according to my experience.

Its the backlinks that count.

Blog spam works. But no one can guarantee you'll rank on page 1. That depends on a lot of things like what quality of inbound links your competition has... and other optimization factors

Your question is not clear...

The thread is a discussion about getting your youtube video to show up for your keyword on Google Search results.

So if you are able to get your video in the top 5 spots on page 1, then yes you will get views from SEO

After looking through your replies, from what i see. Actually TG doesn't really help us in term of SERPs? Since they are uploading to different video sites which of cos did not really increase our ranking for our videos.

Am i right to say? I mean if we are intend to rank them highly, we should just building backlinks to the target videos?

Also as target video, i mean URL given by youtube. Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGKdoEWxsuk&feature=fvhl [this is a example. i choose randomly for example.] Am i right?

TG or Tubemogul may be helpful.

For one of my niches, my main site got penalized and is off the SERPS but my videos on Break.Com, Dailymotion and Metacafe are all on pages 2 and 3 for my main keyword.

I am too lazy but if I build some backlinks to those videos, I can dominate page 1 with ease.

So to answer your question, whether uploading to multiple sites via TG will help you come up on page 1, I really can't say - that depends upon how easy or difficult the niche you are competing for is...

In some cases you might come up on page 1 without any backlinks... while in other cases you might have to build your video some backlinks.

And about the target URL - yes you are right

The video URL on any video site is just like any other HTML page. It has a title, meta description, meta keywords etc. So targeting your video URL with anchor text will work.

However, this differs from the "Video Results" box that shows up for some searches... You wanna rank on that, you gotta optimize for video.google.com... and that is a little different
