Me and a friend are currently using spotfiy to farm streams sucessfully and we make quiet alot of money doing this! But do you recommend switching over to Napster and Tidal? I have heard that they pay out much more, but not as frequent and has anyone here gotten paid from them?

Remember when Napster was an illegal torrent client? Or rather, when it was primarily used for downloading illegal torrents. /sorry for the thread hijack.

Indeed and now it's ironic that other users are trying to hustle Napster.
How the turntables...

They are paying more from what I heard. Only problem they pay after half a year approximately so no one knows exactly if it is working out. I moved from Spotify to Apple Music. It is indeed a bit more work but the payout is so much better

Why not use both at the same time instead of moving out of Spotify since it pays you?

The payout is slow and sometimes not at all (looking at Tidal specifically)

I wasn't even aware that Napster is still around and became a legitimate business. It's like TPB turning into Netflix. :)

Off topic but I also remember when Nero used to have instructions in their help file for burning PlayStation games.
And now I feel old... so thanks for that :)

I set up some accounts to stream on Napster a while back (>3 months), and I know the streams registered on some backend since I can check streaming history of the accounts, but I definitely don't see them on my royalty reports.

yes i get paid by both napster and tidal every 6 months ... but it's worth much more than spoty especially last time

Hello guys, do you have some tips how i can earn money on Napster and Spotify?

How do i get a Artist account on both music apps.

I have already bought a membership on Distrokid for $20, uploaded 3 songs but i can't get a Artist profile yet i don't know why.

I have 3 artist which are not on Spotify and Napster they have good listeners i need help to get a Artist profile for it..

All tips are welcome <3

for napster it takes 1 month before the music arrives there since you sign up on distro ... tidal 4 days ....

Interesting, would someone mind breaking down what this is? some kind of Arbitrage?
