What part of that definition is "vaccine herd immunity" in fact I can't find any definition of it being called "vaccine herd immunity"
It's either a vaccine or it's herd immunity.
A vaccine can "help" achieve herd immunity IF that is even a thing. They are NOT the same.

People need to really focus and read about terms real meaning before misinterpreting them in their mind right away.

"Herd immunity" is not something necessarily achieved via natural exposure to a pathogen, most often it's the opposite (via vaccination), look up the definition.

Yes because there are countless examples of herd immunity working through history that it's the only viable path to anything....
I'm not twisting or miss representing anything.
If you bother to read previous posts I quoted someone that posted or made out vaccine and herd immunity are the same thing because there is a thing called "vaccine herd immunity" there is no such thing. I can't even find the definition of it.
This is why I kept out of the last 50 or so threads like this, we all go round in circles and miss information spreads. Just like "vaccine herd immunity" IF that was the case why don't we all get the flu jab every year? Lets take care of that along with COVID-19 at the same time eh?
People take 1 post twist to come off as the next high IQ genius on here because they can read a wiki.

Polio herd immunity is reached when around 85% of the population are vaccinated.
Measles herd immunity is reached when around 90% of the population is vaccinated.

Well, that is my point, "herd immunity" is a form of group protection from a viral pathogen when a certain threshold of immunity in certain population group is achieved. Whether it's via natural immunity or vaccination, or combination of both it doesn't matter one bit. So a vaccine can well develop a herd immunity. As well as a natural resistance/immunity. It's all "herd immunity" no matter the means to it.

There is no herd immunity. Immunity is established once you vaccinate a bunch of people, people can still catch it but chances are lower. Where does herd immunity kick into that?
It doesn't it's called a vaccine. If herd immunity wa a thing why do we all get a cold?
As for the anitvaxxers... I just said both my kids got the MMR jab... they still caught measles.
Honestly this entire thing is idotic.
Show me a case study in all of man kinds history where herd immunity took place WITHOUT a vaccine. Then tell me there is a thing called Herd Immunuty.

In October there had been... 76 cases. 76 cases in a country of 212M people. Well that certainly deserves a lot of media coverage. When you only have 76 people catching a disease from a population of 1/5 of a billion people, that's called being eradicated and is no longer newsworthy.
If you have a different source of the 2 types of polio being eradicated and the one left because of anti-vaccination sentiment, it would be interesting to read it and see if the numbers are more than 76 people.
Which countries are the stronghold countries you're talking about? Which polio strain is still present? How many people caught that strain in these countries in 2020?

Less people getting polio is positive, yes. News stories making 76 cases of polio seem like it's more significant than it really is aren't positive, they're manipulative, or at best, pointless.

You can't post things up and throw numbers around or cases to make some made up word fit your narrative.
