2 yrs ago, my aunt had a heart attack as well, but she wasn't as lucky as you. She is no more with us. I am happy that you got a new life and wish you a speedy recovery. And what happened to the old avatar?

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Sometimes our bodies send us a little message to take better care of ourselves.

Take care bro, hope you quit smoking and other alcohol consumptions, if not that b!tch will come back again. Take care of yourself bro. Get well soon. Spend sometime for doing exercises.

Holy ****, man. I'm starting to be afraid of opening your threads. I wish you a speedy recovery. As a former smoker, I will say that quitting is very doable. Just find your "why". Health seems just as good a reason as any. For me, I noticed how when I was in the military, I could buy packs for $2. Years later, I was paying $6.50 for a pack. The price was my "why", and now I've been almost 8 years without a cig. Now, I don't even think about them. You can do it. No need for e-cigs, either. Cold turkey.

The military sucks for people who smoke, or who have an 'addictive' type personality. Hurry up and wait, in the military. Lots of time doing nothing. And if you see combat, $hit, I've met a few veterans who never smoked in their lives, pick up the habit when they were deployed!

You're right; you need to have a "why." I'm glad you found your reason, and hope @proxygo has found his!!!

Take more Indian gooseberry along with lentils. Drink hot water before going to sleep in the night.. Refer Pauling theory..

I used to all kinds of BS before my rock bottom 8 years ago. Cleaned up and never looked back. I abused my body. Luckily I survived and healthy now. I work out everyday. Cut caffeine, nicotine and am off the regular sugar, salt and soda.

All this is a passing cloud that will take one to a different spiritual zone.

My prayers and wishes to you.

My father keep smoking after 1st attack and didn't survive the second attack.

Glad to hear that you are forced to take care of your health and eat healthy organic food.
