Couldn't agree more.
Of course Google hasn't had an indexing issue for months... it's all on purpose, boosting their ads income. New sites will have issues ranking, and most likely try some other venue of traffic (Google Ads).
And yeah, any sites started after May update are having some weird issues.. At least in my experience, it's a huge difference for sites started before and after May update. Long asf sandboxes, need almost twice the amount of backlink budget, etc. They know what they're doing, and it's working.

Being that it's so active, clearly shows it's an ACTIVE issue.
I know 1+1=2.
Still no major recovery on my end, the sites that are doing well are still doing well. Site that are doing poorly are doing poorly. Mind you most of these are in the European market. I wouldn't say this update is related to authority in Europe. The sites of mine that are doing well aren't big websites. My gut feeling is that there is a new strange ranking factor that were overseeing.

Is anyone seeing changes in the past week or so?
The impressions and organics have been going up x 2 but the conversion rate has gone down x 2
All metrics in GSC have gone drastically up with the past week and I see people talking about multiple small updates within the recent days.

as per Semrush Sensor - there definetely were multiple updates

SEMrush hasn't been updating 2 days which is weird as their data is always back a few days anyways.. that's why I was wondering if there is some update going on at this moment which is possible.

In the past few days my new posts get indexed on Google and then all of a sudden they are deindexed. I can't find them anywhere on SERPs. This is happening only for my new posts.
Upon inspecting my new post's URL in the search console, it says "URL is on Google", coverage - "submitted and indexed. The post appears on SERPs for 1-2 days and then vanishes suddenly.

Has any one managed to fix their rankings by removing content? Website I work on (Affiliate website) has around 3,5K articles and we had pretty good organic traffic before May and now we are thinking to remove all that content that we don't receive any traffic. Anyone tried removing content to regain rankings? We have around 10K backlinks.

regardless of google updates, you should not have any pages with thin content. Run screaming frog, and identify pages with less than 500 or so words, and remove them. before you do that, make sure that you redirect that page to a similar page so that you can use any existing backlinks. this might be a bit difficult with 3.5 K pages, still go for it.
take a look at one of the most difficult niches: best DUI lawyer in Los Angeles for example. top sites, do not have the most number of pages!!!

I'm having the same problem lately... index, de-index, then index again and so on
I totally disagree with you, you should ensure that every page on your site gives answers or rather say explains the title of the page even if it takes just 200 words to achieve that. The web is changing and time is so precious now, Google will definitely come around.

It's not thin content, it's all written by the professional writers. I don't think number of words is a metric that is relevant any more, but we were targeting number of words as metric before.

After a single day gaining massive amount of organic visitors and conversions, my highest ranking pages have been completely wiped out of the SERPs.
The last time this happened was in May.
Something really odd is going on and they are still tweaking their algorithm I guess but such fluctuations where your highest ranking pages have been taken out of the index completely, without a rank drop first is not normal even for an update.

See some good fluctuations in Nov. Idk what Big G is up to.
This is most likely as a result of black Friday deals
