Inspired by @Sweely's thread.

Let's motivate each other even though the Amazon commision fees are not so motivational.

Share screenshots of your earnings and some info about your strategy, traffic, websites etc.

I have had some free time and I did mostly parasites+Amazon but just with the set&forget method.

I found that the informative articles(+affiliate links) works best as there is lower chance of getting your post suspended.
The best x product and x product review posts are getting reported from the competitors a lot more.

Once the posts settle for some time, I will point some buffer web2.0s.

I will also upgrade the content with more words and I will add more affiliate links as well.

I have also two websites which I'm currently building. I'm just publishing content for now and in near future I will start to publish commercial posts.

People often look at the awful % that Amazon offer and disregard it. The idea of a review site is to get people onto Amazon and let them go shopping;

It's crap when a product range you used to earn 8% for now gets you 3%. But as Tesco say; Everylittle helps.

It is not that bad because I think many competitive affiliates left Amazon because of the commission percentage cut and that means more space for newbies to earn.
Nothing is too black, nothing is too white.
 
Also with eCommerce really booming at the moment (and the world's population keeps on rising), it's possible to rake in big bucks, if one conquers one of those lucrative niches (for example, technology).

Better than drop shipping, I guess. Less of a hassle and more passive in nature.

I haven't touched my Amazon sites since they butchered the US commission, but they still bring in a few $k per month. Frustrating considering what I used to make, but at least with UK purchases you still get better than 1% for a bunch of stuff when they 'go shopping' and the UK have been doing most of their shopping online since March.

Saying all that. If you go for high value items in the US, you can still make a good amount of money. Just not as much as before.

I used to really work at them, but removing the workload has freed up time to explore other ideas which is far more profitable.

I've noticed that, say the commission for a product purchase netted you 3%, if it was returned they'd take 4% from you instead.

And since it's a motivational kindling, I would have loved to see stuff like this when I first started:

2016 - Started with doing GPT tasks ($30/month).
2017 - Transitioned to running my own 1st site, an awkward and embarrassing porn tube site (failed miserably).
2018 - And now we here with the first site making most of it. Since I'm lazy (minimum effort, maximum results), I've tried to replicate the first success using less and less effort only to find that sweet spot. The only problem is that they're all SUMMER niche sites... I'm looking to balance things out with a winter niche site atm. Oh, and a super clean whitehat approach because it was DISGUSTING running that porn site (not because of the content but because you had to use all these shady SEO tactics there). It felt wrong. It's like asking a Finnish to lie to somebody... Fuck no.

Note that already the €500 is a full time job as a cashier in rural areas here, so getting this from IM passively is basically like winning with lottery every month.


The overall trend is an upwards one and I'm lovin' it.

True, before they cut the commission from 8% to 3% I hit the record with the $500 that month. Now I am at the constant $150-$180 every month. I will need to work on my rankings.

It's not too much but it's nice to get something every month.
