CDC came out with report on new infections in July. 70% of newly infected wore masks ALWAYS, 15% nearly always. There has been exactly ONE RCT done on the ability of cloth masks to prevent the spread of a virus (flu). The CONTROL group got infected LESS than those that wore the cloth masks. https://bmjopen.bmj.com/content/5/4/e006577
Ahh more factual information, and what a surprise, once you look at facts instead of people just regurgitating "stay at home", "wear a mask", what you find is that data-based reality might be a bit different to the messaging from the news.Sweden didn't lock down, and now their deaths are nil. Spain locked down hard, and now they aren't looking so good. We can't keep the world on lockdown, and most masks don't help and may actually make things worse.
Yeah but obviously the important metric isn't the rate so much as the total number, which is what he meant. The total number of positives goes up as more testing is done, and logically that statement is true.Positive rate is the number of people that tested positive among those that were tested. It's independent of the number of actual tests.
Great example of bubble created by facebook and other similar social media. On Facebook? Same "haha" and "wrr" reactions. Nobody agrees with the government's decisions. Everyone knows there is a virus, a maximum of a few % negate it. But almost 100% doesn't agree with actual restrictions.
A great example of normal people not wanting to lose their jobs, businesses, and sources of income for something that 99.9% of people under 60 don't die from.Great example of bubble created by facebook and other similar social media.
So what you suggest? That those restrictions are the only way? I don’t think so. And that’s why people are reacting.Great example of bubble created by facebook and other similar social media.

Here:Can you explain us, why are you so sure? Are you a doctor? Did you see it on a microscope? Or did you just hear it in radio, T. V. and internet and that makes you smarter than those dumb ppl who are usually questioning themselves?no offense, im just curious

The normal flu is statistically more dangerous to people under 60 actually.

And you get the data from TV. That's the point.Where is this constant comparison to the flu all the time?
Flu yearly kills 500 000 people
Covid has killed more than 1 000 000 and this is WITH QUARANTINE AND EXTRA MEASURES.
That's the bubble I mentioned. People get their data only from media that feeds it to them (Facebook feed)
who made this ?its world war 3 without a gun!
I don't watch TV, never said I do.And you get the data from TV. That's the point.
Same thing you can say with flu. People who die WHILE they have flu.Look. "Covid has killed more than 1 000 000"
I would better say "1,000,000+ people died WHILE they had covid19" and that changes the whole sense. Isn't it true?
CDC figures, 94% of COVID deaths had an average of 2.6 other potentially fatal conditions and caused of death when they died.Where is this constant comparison to the flu all the time?

Internet is your best way to gather data and no I don't mean youtube "documentaries" or facebook posts.

Read my post above.CDC figures, 94% of COVID deaths had an average of 2.6 other potentially fatal conditions and caused of death when they died.
1,000,000 * 0.06 = 60,000

Feel free at this point to say "Oh ok, I didn't know that but that's changed my perspective a bit, there's a chance that COVID is way less deadly than I thought it was and the common flu might actually be more deadly than COVID."
Read my post above.
THIS IS HOW DISEASES WORK
People rarely die with only one underlying disease.
Those who have good health and no health problems don't die and the immune system fights off most diseases.
So you and @VSYNC are saying that all the doctors of the world are conspiring and reporting false deaths? No @VSYNC point is I think.
If you die in a car crash tomorrow. You are included in the COVID death count. But did Covid kill you or the car crash?
There is no clear definition between them at least not one that is being reported.
