There has been exactly ONE RCT done on the ability of cloth masks to prevent the spread of a virus (flu). Sweden didn't lock down, and now their deaths are nil. Spain locked down hard, and now they aren't looking so good. We can't keep the world on lockdown, and most masks don't help and may actually make things worse.

Ahh more factual information, and what a surprise, once you look at facts instead of people just regurgitating "stay at home", "wear a mask", what you find is that data-based reality might be a bit different to the messaging from the news.

Positive rate is the number of people that tested positive among those that were tested. It's independent of the number of actual tests.

Yeah but obviously the important metric isn't the rate so much as the total number, which is what he meant. The total number of positives goes up as more testing is done, and logically that statement is true.

On Facebook? Same "haha" and "wrr" reactions. Nobody agrees with the government's decisions. Everyone knows there is a virus, a maximum of a few % negate it. But almost 100% doesn't agree with actual restrictions.

A great example of normal people not wanting to lose their jobs, businesses, and sources of income for something that 99.9% of people under 60 don't die from.

The normal flu is statistically more dangerous to people under 60 actually.

The control group wore medial masks. This study simply says that cloth masks are ineffective, medical masks should be used instead. It does not promote not wearing masks.

Every country tries its own way. Sweden tried with easy measures and no quarantine and we all know where it leads them. After that, they changed tactics and it got better.

Its balance between lives and economy. On one hand shitty economy brings more suicide, and another hand, you get killed by covid.
I know it sucks but spreading false information can get more people killed

1,000,000 * 0.06 = 60,000

BUT positive numbers can only go up based on the number of people being tested... I don't get why that's hard to understand.

THERE are more people being tested now that there where back in March / April / May.

If you test more people. There are going to be more positives in them numbers.

Makes no difference how you try and spin it. If there is more testing there is going to be more positives. The accuracy behind those is another thing again..

Look at this way.

If no one got tested. There are no positives. So does that mean everyone immune? Or there is no virus?

Don't even get me started on the flaws of reporting when it comes to area number and case reported vs how many actual tests they can do in a day.

People are dying. Among main reasons is MEDICATION. That’s a top 3 factor. Someone quit on taking medication? No.

People are dying from flu and lungs issues every year. Is the world closed down because of that? No.

People are dying from vaccines, too. Are vaccines banned? Well, the companies behind take no legally responsability. Govt, approved death.

Keep throwing hate around because people are dying. It is a NORMAL survival of the fittest game. A natural event.
