Hey BHW,
I was wondering, that not too many people in my country are making good podcast, but many people are listening to podcasts.
I would like to create or promote podcasts of my future clients of mine... How? What are the best ways to get real listeners?

What are my ideas?
1. Facebook/Instagram ads
2. Theme related facebook groups
3. Theme related influencers
4. Spotify smm panels? Do they work or is it in this case just a waste of money?
5. Theme related forums od podcasting forums and listings

What do you know that are the best ideas for podcast promotion? And what are you ideas that might work...?

Content marketing is best for getting your Podcast out there. Create a blog post articles and SEO them for relevant keywords.

2nd way is optimizing your podcast to rank in the search results. Requires downloads, subscribers and reviews to boost you up.

3rd way is being a guest on other people's show.

4th way is paying for podcast ads on other relevant shows

It's funny you are mentioning starting a podcast as I am doing the same with a friend who is a professional wrestler. He has a more built-in audience but what we have found effective just to see if anyone was interested was posting in FB groups.

Also, make your podcast unique and don't use a free podcast hosting as they will put all kind of ads in there. Get a good microphone and just come up with unique content and you should be good to go. Again, twitter or any social media should be effective in promoting it but in the very beginning stages you want to make sure your podcast is good so have a friend listen to it first before publishing it.

Thanks!! I have to learn more about SEO I am good only with socialmedia.

The good thing about doing podcasts is that you can reuse the content on so many different platforms.
Make snippets of it and upload it to Instagram. Add an additional camera and you're able to upload the full podcast on YouTube as well.
You could also make some "highlights" video where some fun stuff happens and pay some bigger pages in your niche to upload those videos to Facebook.

No, content marketing is NOT the best way to promote a podcast.

The best way to promote something is always on the same platform you are promoting. If you want to promote a podcast, use other podcasts, or advertise on podcast apps, because 100% of your audience will be podcast listeners, and they will be inside of a podcast app when they find out about. you.

I've grown several podcasts to audiences of 10,000's.

Publish transcripts if you want, but that isn't going to be where most of your growth comes from.

promote on social media in a dozen different ways and submit your podcast to podcatchers and aggregators.

share your podcast on social media, record lots of content and create a cohesive visual brand.

Release at least 3 episodes on launch day
leverage your guest's audience
convert the audio to a youtube video

I bought a domain name and created matching social media accounts forit. I turned 45 second intro to my first podcast into a short video and uploaded it to you tube. I have a video streaming program and pushes the video into 40 different platforms including, FB and others. Some I never heard of. It's a lot of F'ing manual work for now. I just started yesterday and live stream the clip an hour ago. I'm doing it in Spanish. At the end of the day is just SEO.

Why don't you use any tools for distribution?

Can you send me a quote on helping me with mine? For some reason every since I switched to RSS, my downlaods have gone down a bunch. I am not sure what is going on.
