Why Did All The (Quiz Sites) Threads Suddenly Stopped !!?

I Was Following All The Threads Talking About Earning From Quiz Sites ((Most Of Them Were Very Active)) .. And All of Them Suddenly Stopped !!!

Now I'm Freaked Out From Creating My Own Website And I Don't know Whether It's Still A Good Idea Or Not

Please Can Anyone Update Their Journey ... Or Can Any Quiz Website Creator Post His Latest Updates ??

I'm guessing because quiz sites are easy to start but hard to be successful at (similar to adult tube sites people are always trying to make). So a lot of people start them and then flame out when they don't make money. I've only seen one successful quiz site journey.

Just like 95% (I am being optimistic here, probably more like 99%) of all journey threads get abandoned.
Why?

Shiny object syndrome, failure, laziness etc.

Very few put a lot of time into it and abandon once they see it is hard word. As was said, quizzes are super easy to make, but even harder than your regular SEO blog as by just letting it sit there you will never get any traffic, you need to actively promote.

With that said, you can do that as a side project, I would not spend 40 hours a week just on the quiz site to start out.

besides the usual "most people in IM quit", i would say that even those that are successful won't necessarily keep their threads updates. some people may want to use journeys as an accountability tool, and that's ok, as reading their initial setbacks is still very useful for the reader. i would also say that any journey can get a little repetitive once you "crack" a winning formula and start doing the same thing methodically and winning. and you cant ask people to share that lol.

the only help you need right now is your own. worry less about why other people don't update their threads and more about putting effort and doing your own thing. if you dont work and think, it won't matter if there are active threads or not.

I Thought This was the easiest thing to start with for Amateurs !! ... since it can be run with organic traffic, not quite important to concentrate about SEO or Link Building, etc...
So i thought this is the best choice as a starter project !

Most likely people stopped talking about it once they realized it takes work.

I am currently running quiz site with 0 cost from my own cause friend from bhw helped me get domain and hosting. Its really hard for me cause of 1 gb ram busted laptop but m' not gonna stop though. I got approved by hooligan media and using those ads. like @supereek said promoting is really hard and ctr is terrible even though, gotta keep grinding.

Its a long term business, requieres alot of descipline, without it it will perish and be gone... i hope i will have enough budget to start one soon myself since i want to market it through fb ads and not only fb groups...

It's a marathon, not something hat would get you rich quick. Alot of people abandon the journey threads buy you can still read up to their lst post and see what they (probably)did wrong. That is what i've been doing. I have read almost all the threads i could find from 2020 about quiz sites. Now I'm in the process of applying what others did to my own site.
