Let Me Give You My Experience With PayPal From The Receiving of The Money from The Client Till Bank Deposit

This happened to me recently, I sell Digital Products On My Website, My PayPal Account is Old But I receive My First Order in The Last Week of September, Client Orderd & Paid With PayPal - PayPal Does what it has to be done - They Hold My Payment for 7 Days I Cannot Get It. 7 days Holding Again After Withdrawl More 7 Days of Verification of Money, After Verification more 3 - 5 Days to Deposit into the bank Total - 21 Days Minimum

But to bypass these 21 Days I followed only Two simple steps.

Simple Steps To Get Your Money in The Bank WithIn 7 Days
1. After Order - Tell Your, Client, to Confirm in The PayPal - Tell your Client That Order Has Started, This will make the PayPal to Release the payment and that payment will go into the PayPal Balance Immediately.
2. Once In PayPal Balance - Go For The Withdrawal To Your Bank Account, After Withdrawal PayPal Takes 3 Days to Verify The Payment - After Three Days You Will Get An Email About Payment Confirmation, PayPal Will Write "You Have Requested The XXXXX Amount, It Has Been Accepted Your Amount Will be Deposit into The Bank in Next 3 to 4 Days" That's Total Max 7 Days

However currently my client doesn't know what to do to confirm the payment. I myself don't know what to tell them. So where should they go to confirm the payment?

why would you say that?

Because they hold my payment and then banned my account and said that I can get my money back after 180 days. But it's almost two years now.
Although I had called their customer service at least 15 times. And each one of them has different answers, some even promised me that I can get my money back. But it's still on holding.
So I guess I can't get 1500$ back this lifetime.

No worries. I'm receiving payments for 1 year now and all my money go on hold. You just have to wait and not panic because after 21 days to 30 days they'll be in your bank. I usually get them on the 1st of every month. Until now I didn't have a single problem with "On hold" money, hopefully I will not have problems in the future. The only thing that sucks is waiting.

Trust me, I was panicking all the time, at the time they were On Hold, and I was reading a lot of articles. But just let it flow and you'll see them in your card.

I had this when i started my first dropshipping store. They keep holding my money for 30 days even when i added tracking code and that package was delivered they still used to keep my money on hold for 30 days. I had more then 200 orders and the same thing. I closed my dropshipping store just because of this...It's sad

Yeah I contacted PayPal through email and they just replied now and said that payments for goods and services are usually placed on hold to make sure the buyer will recieve what they paid for. The funds are put on hold for 21 days and will be automatically released after that period but can be released sooner if I provide either proof of delievery or the buyer confirms the receipt of transaction. So yeah we both are in the same boat here, hope everything goes well

With dropshipping it can get kinda tricky because you need funds to buy from the supplier but if PayPal is withholding funds for 21 days you need to plan head so you need to make sure you have enough funds reserved. In other words you need some capital and plan how many sales you can expect per month.

Mark the payment as processed as other people suggested and mark it as a service. You will not need to provide any information nor tracking code.

Just a small update:

I recieved another payment today from a client. The payment this time went on hold like the first one. I thought moving forward, all payments will go to my balance but this is not the case.

I asked the client to confirm the payment.

2 conditions need to be fulfilled with new account:

You should have received 150 to 200 USD as goods and services

Your account should be 45 to 60 days old.

Once these conditions are fulfilled and assuming there are no chargebacks, the hold will be removed.

But in case you receive a bigger payment, the payment can go on hold at any time.

There are many factors to consider why the paypal funds gets on hold
1. High Risk Transaction
2. Too many disputes on your account
3. Buyer is High Risk (too many opened cases/history)
4. If buyer is paying via bank or credit card
5. Your account is not a verified/established seller/merchant account

Hey yeah I did. It took around 12 days and PayPal released the payment. PayPal is a headache though, payments always go on hold...

Don't worry you will get your payment, I was in the same position as you and was worried as well. PayPal is really bad but what can we do? haha
