I think this was part of my problem. I didn't understand why putting it on my footer would help. Nor is it something I'd want to do.

add the link into a comment on reddit...it'll get indexed much quicker that way.

I like your clear. Also language parameters can be useful for non-English sites, for example:
&lang=hu_HU&language=hu_HU

Do you know an indexer that is working these days? I don't!

I just tried speed-links and omega. The indexing rate of speed links is better than omega. Almost all the links I submitted to speed-links were indexed after a few days
