Blogging is a daunting task. If you are someone who is a little impatient then the thing adds up more. I have been blogging for two years now. Been through a lot of ups and downs in terms of both traffic and moral.

The two are Internally linked. If the traffics is down obviously your moral goes down. If you are morally not well, you won't feel inspired to get along with blogging. There are days when you literally get no traffic or someday the traffic just shelves down by half.

The effort you put in initially is a lot more than you would say put in after say 2 years when the website has already gained authority in the niche. So, how do you manage to keep yourself motivated throughout until you get what you desired for?
I have my ways just want to let know from fellow BHW members.

Feedbacks and suggestions are welcome. Pardon me for my English, not my first language.

I just enjoy doing what I do so much, that it doesn't feel difficult to do what you enjoy.

What helps me at hard times is just thinking how's life will probably be if I'm not gonna take action and start things.
And I understand that it's a hard time and tons of work that at the long term is going to worth it.

Always have a goal/purpose in mind. What do you want to accomplish? Remind yourself of that, but also try to stay healthy. If you feel tired or burned out you should maybe take a break to get back on your feet.

Now, how many your earning man?

One of the best things you can learn for yourself is not to rely on motivation. It's unreliable and will lose to discipline every single time. Learn to get your head down and work because the work needs to be done.

A little motivation from time to time is helpful. For blogging your daily results will be as fun as watching paint dry. Check out YouTube, reedit.com/r/juststart and the journal section here for case studies of people further in the journey than you. People who have posted 500 posts in the last 12 months and their revenue numbers from the day before.

Then, 5 minutes later when that motivation has worn off keep your head down and keep going. The more you do it, the easier it becomes.

I think about what would happen if I don't do what I need to do.

Money and things it can buy works fine as motivation for me.

Money and taking care of my doctor advice.

The last line cracked me up.

I really was on partly joking. I love this game but on days where I'm working on boring or mentally taxing bits, I've lost motivation 30 minutes in. Especially with SEO holy fuck it can be as motivating as watching paint dry.

This is a case study from August (she hasn't posted September yet) of a couple of niche sites making over $24,000 in revenue that month. If you look back 6 months their traffic and revenue were half that. If you want motivation for blogging this kind of thing should get you started.
