I don't think you should feel forced to just stream one game. Some streamers get extremely popular by doing this, while others get popular from playing different games all the time. I thinkt he best approach is to play the games you actually want to play. If you're bored from a game, the audience will definitely notice it.

Streamed yesterday, got another 2 organic followers which is pretty damn awesome. My memes are doing well. Now, I'll focus on my YouTube channel and Twitter a bit more.

Yes, I think I found my game. I got 4 organic followers and lots of views when playing one game and I think I will have to stop playing another game since I see that it is not resulting nor in views nor follows.

Here is an update for you guys.

Had an absolute AMAZING stream today. I played one game where I got 6 natural followers. I had lots of people chatting in the chat. I also hit affiliate and got ton of subscriptions from friends, of course. I did not even want them to sub, but I can't control them. The stream was amazing because I had a lot of viewers and got many follows from that. I think I am doing good so far, very happy about the progress. I've been doing some more stuff - added camera, bought a very cheap mic and it was a big improvement honestly. I also started recording videos for YouTube as well. I submitted my first emote for my channel and I will make one more.

Very, VERY happy about my progress.

Twitch has never been more difficult than now, good luck dude, you got this!

Good job man, keep hustling. Don't expect any serious money within your first year of streaming. Start building a brand and you eventually have success if the quality of your content is good.

Since you started it, I think you know a bit about twitch.
Do you think Twitch will ban me if I stream a live sports match or anime?
100% ban, live sports matches have copyrights, its forbidden and will lead to a ban on twitch.
i will fav your journey, iam also on twitch have 4k followers but had 1,5 years break cause of my job.
make sure to read my Twitch guide here on BHW

interesting you journey is bit different from other hope you successful venture.

I know that. There has been an increase in streamers, currently, there is 7.4 millions of us. Lucky me, but I'll keep at it :)

I am not expecting not even serious money, I expect no money out of this. I want to build something. And money is no problem for me, I have a job so I have something to live off. This will be focused only on providing content for the viewers, trying to build a following and monetization will come with that.

Thanks, I hope it will successful :)

I know the competition is crazy. Just how crazy? Since the lockdown, we Twitch is seeing more than double the amount of streamers. And according to some websites, I am currently in the top 300,000 so I am doing something right so far I just gotta keep at it.

Yes, working on that as well. It's hard to do it right now as I just hit affiliate and now I have to worry about emotes, badges, channel points so there is more stuff going on, but I uploaded 2 videos and planning on doing more.

Good luck on your journey! Since I'm very familiar with twitch I'll be following you

I started playing one game and that brought in lots of organic followers, quite happy about that. I still have lots of friends and people from Discord but some people are starting to find my channel and come and drop a follow. I am planning on finding similar games and playing them to get more followers. I am not focusing on competitive multiplayer games, let's just say that for now. So far, happy with the journey I wish things are going faster, but there is no way with this much competition. I am active on Twitter and trying to do something on YouTube as well, but start is always slow.

And yes, got lots of subs but mostly friends and they are also gifting subs.

Happy for now, hoping I can get more numbers.

Impressive. tried streaming for a while and never got this revenue
Most of those are my friends subbing and gifting but I did get a few subs from other people and some bits as well which is pretty damn good. So I don't really count this money as "earned" and I have a full time job so money for me is not important to make from this hobby for now. I just want the followers so I have a base to build off. But it's nice to see, I can use that money to either improve the stream or perhaps buy some games and give it away to attract more users.

Good luck on your journey! Following.
Thanks!

I always wanted to do this, even when twitch first launched, and always kicked myself for not trying. I love games and can play them for hours and I talk a LOT but for some reason talking in front of a camera always scared me. Guess it would be like stage fright sorta. You got this. Can’t wait to read this thread down the road and see you have a nice following.

I recommend you kick starting with a live view bot and some bought followers. This will greatly help you growing. You'll get even more organic user engagement.
