Hi everyone.
I've been lacking when it comes to IM in the last few months (kinda years as well). I've been heavily doing SEO with CPA and affiliate things but I stopped once I found a nice paying job that gave me a bit more freedom. So now, I am craving something else and with the current situation, lock downs and home office, I have some extra time so I started streaming. Let me explain a few things.
Why Twitch?
I really like playing games and I like to talk. I heard a few times from other people that they enjoy talking to me and that my voice is nice to listen to. Honestly, I am not sure about the last part as you know, when you hear your voice on video you are like: "what the fuck?" so there's that.
Another good things is that I will be able to combine my love for playing games with streaming and make some money on the way.
Goals
The goal is to make money. I would like to make around $300 a month with this with subscriptions, tips and bits. It's going to be a long way until I reach that, a very long way. But honestly the main goal of this is, to make money of course, but I want to be sponsored by different companies, paid to play some games for a few hours. That way I don't need to rely on people to give me money that much. I will write more goals later on, but there is lots of different way to make money on Twitch but I would really like to focus on sponsorships as they can be very different - Amazon promoted their show The Boys by paying streamers to watch first 3 episodes, paid to play games, paid to promote Gfuel and similar products, paid to watch trailer, paid to promote different apps/programs... lots of ways to get paid.
Important details regarding the journey
I will not be buying followers or viewers. I will try to promote myself on different social media websites and try to grow. I will be transparent about this and write most of the stuff that I'm doing, of course, I will not write every single detail.
Next, I will not be providing the exact numbers just to prevent all of you from finding my channel and trolling. I would love to get a few follows from you guys but I won't want to get trollers that will leak my channel and troll me while I play (although a simple ban would suffice). I will write that I got 5-8 followers today so it's not that easy to track me down.
Alright, the first update coming later today! I already streamed a few times and I have been streaming for maybe a week know.
Aaaaaaand yes, I know that my chances of becoming a 100 viewers streamer are very, very low. But as any journey, I will either succeed or I will fail. And I am 100% ready for both. I do not expect to make money right away, I do not expect to have even 10 viewers any time soon.
With all this being said, let's start this thing.
