Hey guys,

If you've been following this thread: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/148750-google-trends-scraper-interested.html
... You probably already know what this is about.

But, I'm creating a new more official thread so the newcomers doesn't get too confused. I've been working on this for just 48 hours so it's by no means ready for the public yet.

It does however WORK, and that's the important thing.

Here's your invitation: http://trendfetch.com/beta-signup

It's called trendfetch.com

What's Trendfetch?
Trendfetch spiders Google Trends every hour and saves the result to a local database. It then groups the data and tells you how hot a keyword is. Based by a specific keyword, a specific date or even a specific hour during a specific date.

You'll get a customized search term report of any specific keyword that's been in Google Trends Top 40, with keyword suggestions, related keywords, number of indexed pages (broad and exact phrase match) , number of blog posts and it will even tell you if the .com or .net domain version of a keyword is free.

How does it work?
Well, let's digg into todays hottest keywords. Here's an example of what trendfetch will do for you:

One of today's hottest keyword is "mark ingram heisman" - it has turned up as a trending keyword 12 times already since it first appeared as trending, with an average position of 30/40 (40 = hottest.). This means a lot of people search for this specific keyword.

As a marketer I'm sure you're aware of the fact that there's money in any term that is being search for a lot :) If you can get a piece of that traffic that is :)And, of course: Know which search terms are being search for (which trendfetch will tell you.)

So, the term "mark ingram Heisman" would probably bring you lots of traffic if you played your cards right. Oh, and by the way: markingramheisman.com is free to register! :)

You'll also get a exact report of how many indexed pages there are in Google(1 030 000) and I'll also tell you 15 related keywords from Google Trends related keywords in combination with Google Suggestions.
Over the time (Let's say in 3 days, 3 weeks or even 3 month) a graph will tell you exactly how hot the keyword is - to help you determine if it's also a good keyword/niche for long-term marketing.
Cool, right?

How do I get it?
I'm not selling anything, it's a free tool. Most people here on BHW have requested that this tool should be released by invitation only. So, you'll have to create a username before you can login and access the data and the reports. You do however not need to verify your email or anything like that.
It's still a very early beta, so if you run into any trouble or have a request for a feature, just get in touch with me and i'll update things on the fly.
Here's where you signup:

PLEASE: Take 20 seconds of your time and post a reply in this thread and let me know what you think!

UPDATE: I guess you're supposed to hit the thank you button as well :) (A small price to pay)

Wow, already 17 registered users after what... like, 5 minutes.

Let me know what you think, that's the important thing! Even telling me it sucks is okay, if you tell me why and what to do about it.

Cheers! :)

i just signed up too .. seems like an interesting tool

signed up..very nice tool
keep up the good work :)

Cool tool. I did something similar, one feature I would love is to be able to categorize the trends e.g. I want to be able to see if a keyword in the "Weight loss" category appears or better still get emailed when a keyword in my preferred category appears.

babypar: Funny that you mention that - the idea just came to my mind. The issue, however, is that it's very hard to automate categorization as it would require that someone grouped them together. When the member rate increase I guess I could let people categorize them manually (sort of collaboration / crowdsourcing) but it would require lots of members doing it for "free" - or for each other - so it's not impossible - just a bit hard in the beginning.

Cheers!

Thanks so far for emails and feedback. Working on a even more user friendly interface to make it dead easy to use for anyone.

Thanks Andrew_27

nice share thanx. how many people have joined the site?

120 today, but now when BHW is back online again that number will probably increase quickly. Dunno how many people i'll let in as beta testers. Depends on server capacity etc :)

crack_dhat: Thanks. Probably not. I don't like software as it's very hard to update and run "on the fly". I like the web and I do believe that the future of software is based online as well.

But... if that's what people want I guess I could do that. It depends. But since I'd have to hire someone to do it for me it would not be for free :P

Thanks for this share, looks promising for sure. I plan on checking it out this afternoon.

lol
there is a google insights that do exact the same
http://www.google.com/insights/search/

am I wrong ?

Not exactly the same. Difference is - you get the hottest , or really most rising, searches from the last 7 days. + lots and lots of other things.

Feel free to signup and compare the difference. It's not like I would spend time building something that's already there :)

Thanks Super, I just signed up. Perfect timing methinks!

Thanks

I just signed up and so far it looks very promising and it for sure helps decrease research time!

Thanks Superman

Looking Great,

I would Love If you could add some RSS

Thanks
