Google Trends scraper is ready - Beta invitation here!

I have never built anything with RSS from scratch so I guess i'll have to learn how to do it then. However, not the first priority.

Already 200 registered members! Will make some updates when I hit 300-500+ as I'll probably have some basic feedback to work on!

Thanks again guys!

i just registered to be member
hope this beta-tester still alive and free

good service :)

Hi thanks! I just signed up, so make it harder for more people to get in, ok? ;)

I have 200+ days of hourly XML feeds if you want...some hours missing though due to issues with the net. Just yell out if you want some more data.

Hey this is an awesome tool!

I have been using google trends method to make money this past few months. From what I experienced to really get the flood of traffic and make a lot of money from these searches you need to have site setup before they become a hot search. It's like predicting the future hehe. You have to watch the news from TV daily to get some ideas. Cuz what people usually do these days is watch TV and then get more info from the internet.

Like the last time I targetted was "Adam Lambert AMA performance" you know that gay guy that did kissed a man while performing? Yeah that term was in the top 40 google trends for at least 7 days.

Dude.....Dude...this is Hoooot...OMG dude you rock. THE POTENTIAL! My mind is spinning..im off to make some money!

Not exactly the same. Difference is - you get the hottest , or really most rising, searches from the last 7 days. + lots and lots of other things.

Feel free to signup and compare the difference. It's not like I would spend time building something that's already there :)

Thanks a lot for this important tool. If you are able to fill the main-page's white content space, the site will look more professional. :) (I'm viewing it at 1024x768 px screen resolution). I think you just need to add more breadth to the content area and overall width. The left-hand side has lot of black empty space which can be filled up, giving you the necessary width to bring up the content-data.

Can you please make the up/down arrow next to the column titles visible all the time, so it clearly indicates that there is a sort function attached to the title? Of course you have it mentioned at the top, but this small modification will enhance your great efforts. :)

Thanks anyway for a good tool. I'll keep testing it and if I find something more worthy, I will shoot you a PM. :)

P.S.:
Is it also possible for you to hyperlink the "Related Keywords" and also the "Keyword Suggestions" (in the sidebar) to show (in a popup window, for example), or goto their Google Trends? That would be real handy and more versatile!

A +Rep given to you for really "Walking The Talk!" :)
I wish a lot of other members follow your example ... they have asked for ideas to create such tools for our members and then have ran away with the gold! Those are cases of simply talking about the Walk, and not really walking the talk! HeHe

Very nice. Now if I can just catch a wave.
thanks superman

Thanks!!! This is very valuable information. About the screen resolution thing i'm rebuilding the css from scratch to clean up the layout.

Regarding everything else: Lots of relevant feedback - will probably take care of it later today or tomorrow!

Thanks again, it means a alot!

About to play with this now...looks excellent.

Something for you to think of though...don't be too nice.

Make the email manadatory..build a list. Then when your second product comes out, offer it at a low price to people on that list.

The least people can give you as a reward is their email address for the time you have spent on this.

Here's a few things that i'll update to the next beta version (call it version 0.2 if you'd like :) ):

- CSS redesign. Nothing fancy just cleaning up the design a bit. Site doesn't work perfectly on small monitors, so for all you guys out there with netbooks, i'm on it!

- Small question mark icons which you can hover to get some help if you feel confused about what you're looking at. Just another user experience thing :)

- More user friendly overview. I know the navigation is a bit messy at the moment so i'll create something better and more logical. (Sort of... "You're here: " with possibility to go back to where you were...)

- All time high keywords and indepth information about them. As the keyword list is growing we're able to group data together and see sort of all-time-high ranking trends. These will be giving a point or value based on how many times they've shown up and their average position in the top 40. You'll THEN be able to bulk check if .com or .net version of that keyword is free (Uh, can't promise that last one though, as it could crash the server i'm checking domain names against. But, i really hope that i'll be possible to do.)

ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS? :)
