Questions about Clickbank affiliation

Hi everyone,

So after my first attempt to advertise affiliate product last week and you all laughed at me hard:

I’ve managed to launch a new PPC ad this week with another Clickbank product. I followed everything you all said in the above thread.
I used Bemob and setup bot filter.
I changed my ad format. I followed some best practices tips and used a landing page.
And I reached 1725 clicks on my ad (hops in Clickbank) but I stopped it.

The thing is, I know that people need to be warmed up to actually buy the product and I chose a landing page where the vendor collect their email address.

Now, my question is: will the vendor pay me a commission if someone who opted in their email list end up buying one of their products?
Or, do I just have to forget about that?

In that case, do I have to choose a product where the vendor doesn’t collect the email address of my traffic?

In case you’re asking yourself why don’t I collect their e-mail address myself, I’m already preparing a website which I’ll use as a landing page, but these things take time and I want to be able to move faster with their own landing page first.

P.S: I’m a total newbie when it comes to pure affiliation marketing. So feel free to explain to me as if I was a kid of 5 years old although I’m not asking for spoonfeeding.

As long as I know Conversion by Email list wont be counting as affiliate conversion. So if you send traffic to vendor page directly and they buy from there then it will count. I would recommend to warm the audience using your landing page and then send to vendor page.

You can also send audience directly to clickbank checkout page.

So if I get it right, I have to avoid vendor landing pages where the vendor collect email addresses too, because if my traffic convert after reading their email campaign, I'll not earn commission with that.

Ok, I'm going to search for a way to send audience directly to Clickbank checkout page after my own landing. I think this is the safest way to not lose any commission.

I just realized I can just try to opt in their email list using another email address as a test. And there, I can see if they give credit for my affiliate ID in the checkout page or not.

So problem solved

Isn't it supposed to have a cookie installed in the prospect's browser so that the sale will be attributed to the affiliate even if the prospect comes from the seller's link later?

I think you might need contact your mentor to click bank as you might break all rules.

What happens the cash go into your account then they cheek to see was all clicks legit.

If they're not legit clicks or fraud there money/commission is all returned to product owners...

Then your account closed/ban for fraud.

There no point hurting the hand that feeds you .

I have tried to put my email for some offer and the mails i got had my clickbank nickname on the links.
I guess this depend on the vendor
