So by accident i discovered a weird niche on youtube .

It's pretty easy to make videos on it and they are doing pretty good and people are making haaaard bank with it. So i figured I'll give it a shot as well as a side project when I have nothing else better to do. Also, I'll make this journey thread to document the growth of the channel and stats since thats something I like to do as well. Felt good after my first successful journey and hoping for another one now. Also im rambling because I'm high out of my mind. Anyway ...

I started making videos and uploading them on an already existing channel I had about 2 weeks ago. So far I have 16 videos uploaded with a whopping 217 views overall. But that is fine since the whole strategy is to make as many videos as possible and let them acquire views overtime so the passive views that come in keeps growing and that will be pretty much the source of the passive income.

It takes me anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 hour to record , edit and upload a video. So that part is pretty easy and I could easily make 3-5 videos daily but I am way to lazy to do that so I'll probly average on 2-3 per day hopefully. O yeah, I record the videos myself. No, it's not some weird fetish on youtube..... i really hope .....

So as far as milestones or goals go

-
for now I just want to get to 100 uploaded videos and see how the views, passive views situation will be and see if it's worth continuing to pursue or not.

- And I guess I can put like a 10 k views milestone for now just for fun.

The channel has 54 subscribers. 52 were already on it and I got 2 new ones since I started.

I highly doubt any of the videos would go viral since that's not the sort of niche they are in.

Anyway ... see ya at the next update.

All the best on your journey. How long are your videos?

Anywhere from 3 minutes to 25.

Small update.

Total number of videos uploaded is at the moment is 28.
Total views at the moment 558 .
And got like 4 more subscribers but that doesnt matter right now.

So no big movements as of yet but I dont really expect them this early on. To be honest I though it would go much faster and views would be coming in much quicker and easier but it's ok i'm used to a rough start in anything I attempt anyway.

For now the goal is still to get to 100 uploaded videos and then have a look at how the channel is growing and how many passive views it's getting from old uploads and see if it's worth continuing.

Good luck with your journey! Are you planning to use youtube partnership for the monetization later?

Best Of Luck With Your journey.
just one piece of advice i dont knew if it is worth anymore since i quit youtube....
when i start with a new niche what i do is
create 3 channels with the same niche same videos same stuff (for me i was doing that on 5 to 7 channels)
and what i realize is that from all this channels there is one or two channels that get recommended, more views, traffic than the others...
once this channel start to get more traffic than the others, i stop with the other channel and keep uploading on the one that gets more traffic.

Why on earth would that help? Your just splitting potential traffic between different channels. Do you aim for different keywords on each channel?

why dont uu try something first, then tell us if it help or not
u should ask this question to youtube not me they are the one ranking, they the one to decide if your channel get viral or not, based on their own rules not mines not yours.
im saying that cause i tried it, and one channels get more traffic than the others ans start ranking fast, how? well ask youtube not me?

How do you know that if you would have made only one channel it wouldn't have gone viral? If you make a few you are forcing them to choose one. How they choose it I have no idea.

if you need video to be viral, you need 200k subscribers atleast 50% of them must watch the full videos to get on the last part of the list. If your channel is new, make some general video, and buy some some 100k views from trusted seller and give a try, so that your others videos will start getting more views and your channel will start getting more subscribers faster. Good luck.
