So this small youtuber with about 2.8k subs messaged me and added me on discord, I only have 66 subs so I obviously added him. He basically told me he could run facebook ads for me, I suspected it was a scam but he was asking for like $5 so I thought why not. I figured he would probably either do what he said he was going to, or not do anything, I didn't think he would view bot me.
Anyway the views started pouring in and they were obvious bots, all from suggested traffic instead of direct traffic from facebook, no watch time, no subs or comments likes or dislikes etc. So I messaged him and really wasn't even mad because I didn't want to instigate things with him, and I told him paypal is going to refund me anyway but if he doesn't want me to complain to paypal where he'll get a strike for this he should just refund me and turn the view bot off. Well he eventually agreed that he would turn the bot off and refund me, then he blocked me and didn't do either of those things.
Then the next mourning I see he's botting a second video of mine. This time the majority of the traffic is coming from direct but not from facebook either. I suspect the second bot is more obvious to youtube because it's purpose is to get me banned.
Now I've privated both of the videos for now, but I don't know what to do going forward. Should I turn them back on without really needing to worry about getting banned? Should I call youtube and try to talk to them about it? Can I just wait out the 3 days or so it will be active? How do I prevent this from hurting my channel?
Also, this is blackhatworld, how would I go about fucking over his channel as revenge, because if he takes me down, I'm taking him with me.
