How long do I need to wait for the backlinks that I've purchased to impact rankings before I buy more of them?

Two months ago I have purchased an expired domain (well, expired in 2017 :p), created 6 content pages (plus the usual legal pages), added it to Google Search Console and Analytics, and then purchased backlinks for it.

Before buying backlinks the GSC had detected 2 backlinks (one from pinterest.com and one from pinterest.dk), but 2 weeks after getting the purchased backlinks GSC had dropped the pinterest.dk backlink but picked up 34 others (most of them from the backlinking package I have purchased). However, Google should have discovered 100s of backlinks considering the sheer number of those that I have received in my report from the SEO seller where I've purchased the backlinks from. Which brings me to the question in the title of this thread....

How long must I wait for Google to do its thing (display all of the backlinks that I've purchased in the Search Console) before starting a new backlinking campaign? Is 2 weeks enough waiting or should I wait more (how much longer)? I never knew the answer to this question..

You probably bought weak links. You won't see any results

You need a lot more. If 2 links could move the needle, there wouldn't be competition in first place.

I wouldn't say that they are weak links. I just manually went through all of the links that I've purchased to check which ones are live and which ones aren't live anymore, and I'm seeing a good mix of web 2.0s, .edu links, profiles, bookmarks, and social signals, as well as over 20 high DA backlinks from sources like goodreads, diigo, podbean, instructables and many others.

In all honesty, if such powerful and diverse links (oh, I forgot to mention that at least 20-30 of them are contextual as well, with lots of HIGHLY RELEVANT content around them, with images and whatnot)... as I was saying, if such powerful and diverse links can't rank a 6-page micro-niche website where all of the keywords that are target are easy or very easy to rank for (as stated by Keyword Titan) then I don't know what else can rank this site, especially since it's an aged EMD domain, too.

But anyway, you haven't answered my question, which was: how long do I still need to wait for google to pick these backlinks up? (I just mass-pinged them an hour ago to see if mass-pinging is any good)

I don't only have 2 links. I purchased (and GOT) over 100 of them, and quite powerful links, too... well, powerful according to me :)

Link building is a continuous process, you don't just drop a bunch and wait results.

Regarding the link quality, they are not powerful links unless you paid 5+ figures for all of them which I doubt.

Sites like that just don't make it anymore. You have to add more content to the site, a lot more.

I know that it's a continuous process, but I also know that there are plenty of sites doing an initial backlinking campaign, they rank of first page of google and then the owner does nothing and they're still on page 1 for years to come. THIS is my goal for this site and with the backlinks I got I should reach this goal easily for any of the keywords that I target. Which doesn't happen at the moment, and I can't figure out why because the niche is not competitive, the keywords I've chosen are not competitive, and the backlinks I got are good.

But anyway, that's not what I asked in this thread. So far everyone avoids answering my question. You are all very sneaky :p

Really, man? Are you really paying 5+ figures for your backlinks regardless of niche and keyword toughness? Come on, I know that I am a newb to SEO but I'm not stupid

Not really. You can't create a 1000+ page website centered around computer keyboards (just an example).

Thanks for trying to help, but I will wait for other inputs.

You will set yourself up for a disappointment with such an approach right now.

Pointing out an old and flawed approach is an answer.

100+ powerful backlinks (permanent) will cost you way into the 5+ figures.

Yes. Yes you can.

Not to bash on you or anything, but you should really NOT blast your site with cheap links.

The guy just blasted his site with cheap links and you tell him to do it again? What is wrong with you?

difference between buying quality links and cheap links when I say buy links I meant buy solid links constantly if someone dumb to understand my mes can’t help it

The impact on ranking depends on the quality of the link. Most probably it can take 2 weeks(if its quality link).

As said above, building links is a continuous process, some links might take time to impact(as it depends on the quality of linking site). So keep building links consistently and diversify backlinks.

OK. I know what to do now. Cheers!

As soon the links are indexed..you could see the results...give it a 3 to 4 days...

purchasing links could be done monthly...you don't want to be too obvious that your links are not natural..so give it some time

...give it a 3 to 4 days...

Finally someone who got my point! That's what I needed to know because I had waited almost 3 weeks now to see any ranking improvements and I wasn't sure if this was enough time to wait or I should wait more, although I had a feeling that 3 weeks is too much. But I needed some sort of confirmation

Thanks dude!

Probably not all links are going to show up on GSC, so first of all dont expect that.

About your question, it is too subjective... just build links constantly, there is no rule of days/weeks/months to wait between blasts.

Links need to make sense.

If you get featured on the cover of CNN you'll get a million legit links.

Just gotta make sure there's a explanation for getting links.
