As I mentioned in that thread I will update it when rankings improve, that's why I haven't updated it yet. For now, my rankings are the same (ie not in top 100... unfortunately the keyword tool that I'm using only tracks the first 100 results of google rankings. so I can't know whether the backlinks did the job or not and actually improved my rankings from, say, nowhere to top 200 or something like that).
However, some of the backlinks have been finally picked up by Google Search Console (3 weeks after I got the backlinks GSC had picked up 39 of them... still not enough, though, cause I've received over 200 backlinks).
Yesterday I ordered an xrummer blast and some social signals that I've pointed to the backlinks that have not been discovered / indexed by google, because unless google picks up most of those backlinks I can't know if the service is good or not. Personally (just a hunch) I think that those backlinks are good but my site is having issues somewhere else (either the domain is faulty cause it's an aged and dropped domain name, or the keywords I've targeted are too competitive, I don't know, but something's not right somewhere).
Anyway, I'm checking the rankings 2-3 times a day, and when something happens I will definitely update that post.
If you want my honest opinion - but bare in mind that I am a newbie, so my opinion might be wrong - I'd say that you buy that service because you'll get a good mix of backlinks (including social bookmarks and signals which have already been picked up by google), but do not rely on them alone. I think the best kind of backlinks for ranking any site are indeed guest posts and/or niche edits, but those are expensive as fuck for someone like me. If you have a site that is already ranking and just wish to improve your SERPs a little bit, or to consolidate your position the backlinks that I've ordered will do the job fine in my opinion.
