I have an expired domain that was used as an Ecommerce website before. Can I use it for Amazon affiliate site? What are the drawbacks? and how can I use it properly?

Thanks in advance.

It doesnt matter, as long as your submission approved, aged domain still worth it.

You can use it without any concern. Make sure the domain name doesn't have other problems ( banned on google, copyright problems, etc ).
Cheers!

In short, YES. I hope you checked the domain & there is no Penalty/SPAM History. You can read it: https://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/seo/expired-domains/ This is a how-to guide, so you can learn the Indication of a Good Expired Domain, This can help you.

What are the drawbacks?
No, If the Domain is clean.

As long as it's clean and has good links, you're fine. Just make sure you choose a proper seller and do research on the domain.

Make sure you utilize the link juice, restore broken pages, etc!
