no point in buying views anymore, do it yourself

I have tried getting so many views with YouTube ads, and it personally made no difference to my ranking. Once sent 10 000 highly targeted keyword views (discovery ads) to a video - after I stopped, I got barely 1 view every few hours to that video. I have tested so many angles. Also, very few comments and likes and subscribers.
Youtube ads views are only good for certain niches. For music its the best, because you can target certain people that would fit well for that type of music. Other than that its blackhat and socialmedia. What I always suggest to do, is start building a fanbase rather than worrying about views. Id rather have 1k people who truly enjoy my content then a mix of 100k people who just come and go with trends and things like that.

I understand people always say - build a facebook community and sorts to get views, but here's the thing. Its a hard thing to do and if I looked at some other channels in my niche - their Facebook and social media pages get barely any attention in terms of likes and followers - so their views are mostly all from organic ranking or suggested. These channels have tens of thousands of subscribers. I will also still never understand how some channels just start getting good views right from the first video and build up quickly over a year. Then I try with high quality similar content and I cannot even get a few views no matter how many videos I upload or their quality and SEO. I have tested now with many channels and same effect to all. Paid for social media promotion, ads etc. Maybe I am shadow banned or something because its like every channel I make is set to "off" switch by YouTube.

There's no "organic" in anything anymore lol. You can go to the store and buy "organic" food, but is it really organic or is that just a marketing strategy? The point is, it dosen't matter what you do. Just do something that works in terms of getting people to enjoy your content. Im building my own network of 1k accounts. These 1k accounts will engage on my videos initially thus getting it pushed fast af into the algorithm and getting ranked. With only 100 accounts, my video is ranked for competitive keywords and getting suggested everyday. There is nothing wrong with whitehat or blackhat. Just do both with great genuine content and you'll be fine.

And how do you use 100 accounts with only 2 phones to work, wont YouTube detect it??...and my apologies for the noob question as I'm new to this entire YouTube game :)

I've tried yt ads, it doesn't work in terms of ranking but it can give you some subscribers, and if you are lucky enough then those subscribers will watch your future content or else they wont even bother to check out your videos, that's the sad part :(

Honestly working with a base of 100-1k accounts youtube isnt really going to pay any mind. I just make sure not to do too many actions and take everything slow. Many believe getting 1k views in an hour vs in a week will be a huge difference when really it isnt that substantial. I make sure to use user agents etc

yeah youtube ads you need to use them very smart. You really have to hit the nail on targeting the right audience. Its good for niches like music. But for ranking purposes itll do nothing.

does having the number phones make any difference like if i do 1000 views in 2 days with 10 phones, each phone using 100s account, im pretty sure it can hit 10k?
Yup that would work!

That is just common sense and I completely agree. Anyone even remotely serios at making a living online has to use logic in my opinion.

I've seen lots of cases David and Goliath where little resources but effectively applied had much more success than unlimited resources used poorly.

It’s not that hard to rank for competitive keyword but how long you stay there?
so far 2 weeks. My account is literally only 3 weeks old lmao

it's mental to go manual, but I agree it can rank if you put the effort in
I recommend you to throw lots of social shares too
definitely agree!

2. Device farm from Free Trials + Youtube subs app.
- Just an idea but never got the chance to read more or study about it.
- With amazon aws, they provide a device farm service. This is for app developers to test their new apps if it's compatible with all devices.
- With this device farm, you'll get a chance to run your new app with different phone models, and I believe each phone will have different IP? Not sure though.
- Create the youtube app that will autoplay your videos.
- And that's it. Use device farms, then test your app which would view the vid.

Cool idea about the device farm but it will problem be to expensive look at their pricing. I guess you could do it during the free trial though.

What are social shares? You mean share on other social networks, facebook, etc?

This is so true! Honestly I don't mind doing a little bit of blackhatting to get the ball rolling. I've learned so much about how algorithms are changing and what works and what doesn't. Plus blackhatting isn't really a bad thing, if anything its something to be proud of, working around these money hungry companies XD
Oh, I don't mean blackhat is bad, don't be silly... I'm just looking for most efficient way to do it. I've seen these channels that trick users to subscribe and they get real engagement, rank the same or higher than channels with bought aged accounts and bought views and are easier to manage and seem to be free, it doesn't look like they're paying for anything but can't be sure. Also no need to manually add these subs and likes either after the initial boost. I have most of their method figured out, I just can't figure how not to get banned and I can't figure out how they do the initial boost, since the channels are old already, so they don't need boosting anymore. Don't get fooled, I say greyhat, in the sense that it's real users, but it's forbidden, if you'll use it on youtube without doing some things first you'll get automatic strike from youtube xD.

haha i totally agree with this!

@Russ Thomas you're everywhere in the YT niche. You're so hungry, I like this. I have 1 question, let's say you add 100 views on those videos, how much they get back in return? 1k views, 5k views? On average.
