Hello Guys I have an important Question.

If I want to register a domain name in other country extension will I get in trouble?

How can I see if it’s trademarked? On https://www.uspto.gov/ ?

And how I know if it’s not trademarked and I can register the name?

I'm not from United States if it is important

If you register a domain in Spain and your domain use the name of the business and use the extension .es (country extension), yes you can be in trouble if is trademarked.

If isn't trademarked, you shouldn't have any problem..

Yes you can register the name if is not trademarked, for example if you use apple.es (is registrated but is an example) yes you can have trouble because Apple is in All countries.

If you want to avoid problems, you should go with Njal.la, prices is expensive but security and privacy is a top notch.

You need to verify if is trademarked or not, in official page of the country you want to register the domain. For example Spain, you should look for a official page to lookup trademarked or registrated.

That is you should look for, but if is not trademarked you shouldn't have any problem. Trust me, there are similar names of website in various countries.

Oh you mean registrated in the Country I want register the extension for example .es I need to check if this American Company have registered her trademark in Spain?

I thought if it is registered as a trademark on https://www.uspto.gov/ it counts worldwide

Yes and no. But yes you should do it.

If I found a company with 1 result in WIPO International Trademarks (Madrid) this means this brand is registered for all European Union Countries, right?

Trademarks can be registered at national level or EU level. You have to look at the brand you have found, what trademark has. If is just for one country, you can register that brand in another country. It also depends on the class of the trademark, etc.

Thank you for your exact explanation and sorry for asking so much but I have no experience with this it’s the first time and I want avoid to get legal troubles. Most big companies I found have also EUIPO so I can forget to register EU extensions
