Fixing already existing Adsense account

I’m trying to sign up for monetisation on YouTube but always get an email saying i have a existing Adsense account. The problem is i have no clue what the email is and don’t know what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Somehow anyone created an Adsense using your address? It stopped my brother from creating an account but that was many years ago.

I had the same issue before. But i dont fully remember the whole steps.
Any how i did something like this :
Cancelled the adsense account.
Created new adsense account with different ip address, different device and different address.
Reapplied and it was successful.

Please check the google support community, where you can see the whole procedure. or wait for someone to answer properly.
