I recently joined clickbank and i tryied bunch of stuff but this is really getting on my nerves. I have 5,272 hops and just 3 sales. I did not even make enough sales so clickbank can send my checks which are about $68 ...lool!

I got a lot of awsome tips from this forum and i just want to say thanks to everyone, some really cool people here :) but i just can not figure out why is any of this working out for me! WTF am i doing wrong?

May be you are promoting the wrong product. My CB conversions are 1/20. Look for products with high gravity.

try different product. Or maybe try different promotion technique. Hehehe :D

that sucks.. I hope there is demand for the product in the market, else you could be wasting your time. What is the product gravity, %refd figures? If they are low, try a different product in the same niche

Good luck,

Good luck,

They are all products with high gravity. Most of them are from the money and employment category. So i guess they should sell. All my sells are related to one survey product, that's the only product i had luck with....it really sucks though :o

to me, it seems ebooks are dead, IE clickbank, most people i know dont even know what an ebook IS! i dunno im sure theres some people who put a lot of effort in and make great sales everyday. Clickbank just isnt for me

How are you driving traffic ? I use article marketing and it brings targeted visitors. May be it's your traffic. Look for established products with high gravity and low refund rate. Sometimes new products get really high gravity and when the hype ends there is a tremendous ammount of refunds. You can subscribe some newsletters of clickbank sellers and see what other people are selling. If you see that most of them are selling the same product it is probably a good product.

The only success I 've had with clickbank products is with ppc. I have tried ranking on the first page of G and have been somewhat successful.

The problem with ranking is, after you have have put alot of time and effort to get your site to rank and then find the product does not convert. First try ppc if you can and see if the product converts and then maybe do seo for ranking.

I think it maybe your pre-sale thats the problem. Test different pre-sales and see which one works best. Also targeted traffic is very important.

A lot of stuff has to go right for you to be successful with CB.. and even after you do that shaving with CB is a problem and other factors that prevent you from getting a sale.

What has to go right?

You have to have a great presales page, usually a review style website that compares similar products with your personal review of said products. Those have worked best for me.

Then you have to bring in targeted traffic. You can get this from PPC, web 2.0 sites, etc.

I usually push the product that gives me the most sales on the review page.. and I also collect emails to continue promoting similar products to visitors.

Once you have stable sales come in... and you're making more then you're spending on advertising you can usually expect to continue making profit for months, even years to come.

I love working for a couple days.. setting up review pages.. finding a converting product and just working to build up targeted traffic while making money for months and months after I'm done. Internet marketing is fun.

thx, i did not try with web2.0 sites, i am just getting started...i also like what i am doing but it just got anoying because i did not get any stable sales. Hope i will get that in the future :). I reall like clickbank but i do not know what it means "shaving with clickbank". I heard that before but can you please tell me what it means?

Thx for the info, though. I guess i also would have to use linkwheeling with this techniq, right? I just started reading Lemonarian's report about that which is very well explained. Big thx to him also :tee:

I know this is a bh site and all but PLEASE tell me you set up a capture page and that you have a big ass list now?

If not take that extra step to set up an opt in page. You can increase opt in's by offering a free ebook, video etc. that relates well with your cb product.

Setting up the auto responder to email your list is really easy and I'm telling you, and I'm sure others will confirm, you are leaving double your sales on the table by not setting up a list capture and auto responder system for those that don't buy on the first look at your sales page.

Anything with a ratio over 1/100 is a waste of time unless the commissions are high - of course it depends on the cost per visitor - if traffic is organic then any sales are good if no SEO efforts are required.

Personally I never continue to promote any product if my cost per sale exceeds 30% of the commission (I include my time as costs)

Sounds like your marketing to a very broad audience or the sales page sucks. Thats alot of hits vs sales buddy

lol more likely same situation here, but i'm more pathetic than you, had 3 sales and they all refund in a weeks.

Well, just move on to other products. After all, this product is already making sales.

Keep churning out promos after promos and add more products. After awhile, you'll find they all adds up. A few sales for this product, a couple more sales for another product, and a few more sales for another, and another......before long you have a stream of sales coming daily from different products.

:)
