Expired Domain 301 Redirect Gone Wrong

Hey guys, i made a mistake by redirecting an expired domain to my money site, the links were clean to me and for the first 2 weeks the rankings were growing until it started dropping and now does not even rank at all.

I have disconnected the expired domain and even disavowed it in GSC, it is not more showing up in the links section in GSC but my site rankings still remained the same (Bad)

What do you think i should do? I think the expired domain i redirected was banned by google

I think you jumped the gun. Google plays around with rankings and you gotta just leave it be sometimes. How long were these timelines?

As per my knowledge, you have done what you could for being on the safer side.

Next time add your domain name to GSC (search console) to check for any preexisting issues before redirecting.

I did the same almost a year with one of my ClickBank affiliate website, redirect 5 expired domains through different hostings. Initially, all ranking went n I don't care at all, after 3 months, the site starts growing and till now, it's holding a tight position on few keywords and I am getting decent sales on weekly basis.

Yes, the IPs must be different and if its your not the main website so leave it for some time.
