Traffic is nothing without revenue relating to the number of visitors.

There are a multitude of ways to monetize a site and you'll need to test many of them to find which works best for your traffic.

As to adsense, I'd not even bother adding that into the mix for testing.

I don't mess with sites like that myself but if you are getting the volume of visitors you say you are getting you should explore various opportunities to monetize it.

Truth be told, sites with free space and facilitating are presently getting approval for Google AdSense. To get AdSense approval, you need two things Contents and Traffic.

Adsense Approval is not soo tricky. Just add 10-12 Articles , add Custom pages like about us, contact us. 5 Days back i got adsense approval in 1st Attempt.. !!
