Ask Me Anything About Pinterest (Pinterest AMA)

I have never operated that many accounts at one time. however having one main account you pin to and using the others to repin them may be your best option.

Thank you. Do you have experience in selling t shirt on Pinterest?

Hey, How should i go about promoting a money making niche blog. that's mainly targeting broke teenagers looking for fast ways to make money.
what i have in mind (according to what you said in that other thread) is to first join a bunch of money making boards and wait for them to accept (never got into one so not sure how it works), and then start making pins using Photoshop saying for example ( 10 ways that you can money as a broke college student) and post it in those group boards with hashtags and proper keywords and stuff and then just wait for traffic. please tell me if anything is wrong with this process.

also, i wanna ask :
what should be the best number of pins??, is there any limit or i can just keep posting as long as i have the content???
can i post the same content into multiple group boards and would it be beneficial??
does this method grow your actual account so you can stick to posting to your account only eventually (and forget about boards)???

Sorry for all the questions, and thanks for the amazing contribution!!!

I think Pinterest is for ladies 25-45 years old, and it's used for hoarding tips, recipes and ideas. Like broke mommy bloggers, etc.

TikTok has mainly teenage audience.
If you can promote your stuff with funny videos that can go viral there then you can be really successful.

TikTok doesn't really pass my vibe check for blog promotion, have you ever had any success with it?
also can just do like (10 ways to make money as a single mom) since the money making methods are for everybody, but i'm not sure if that could hurt the ropical relevancy of the site since google will notice a lot 30yo females coming into the account when it's meant to be for teenagers. i'm just kinda lost

No, I don't use TikTok. I'm not into video blogging. But I've seen people reporting insane success with simple stuff.

Well, you can make it a broader niche. For teenagers and for young broke moms you get from Pinterest.

@William702 Hats off to you man, still answering questions 3 years later.

Hey I read that you use 3 hashtags per posts. Have you tried to use some more? Does it affects your performances?
Also, do you use very generic hashtags, let say like #fashion or something like #love when you sell t-shirts?

I've read hashtags are not very effective now after the new update

Yeah probably. I don't think I would even bother. I looked at big accounts like 9gag and boredpanda. They don't use hashtags. I think these guys know what they are doing. Also I did a couple of searchs and the first results did not had the hashtags in the pin

I have around 20k followers on Pinterest and it is growing at a healthy rate. I used to get decent traffic from there but from past couple of months my pins have stopped getting impressions, they barely get 2-500 impressions. I emailed support and they said my site is not flagged, Can you help me out with this?

I run an image hosting website similar to imgur. Is there a limit to how many times my domain can be pinned per day by multiple accounts? I'd like to ramp up some automation with ~100 accounts posting 1 pin from my site each day.

Sadly the time has come for me to stop replying to this thread. Too many vague questions like "How can I grow my traffic" or requests for me to help people who are having technical difficulties with the site. I have nothing to do with Pinterest and have not logged in to the site fora LONG time. I have everything automated and I have discussed this ad nauseam in this thread and others. Also I simply don't have the time at the moment and don't want people to think I am just ignoring them.

I hope that some of you are still able to get some of your questions answered by the content that is already in this thread. Good luck!

Hi, @William702
I want to ask how can i.... :D joke.
What smartloop daily pin limit, how much? Now I'm pining ~30 pins per day with my loops, is it possible to do 100 per day?

Regards and thanks for this thread!

I started using Mother/Child Method 5 months ago
I created more than 150 Pinterest Accounts
it's been 2 weeks I bought RDP and Proxies I started the automation accounts
my main account have 1k followers and the other 150 account have between 100 >> 500 followers
and I post manually on my main account
there are about 60k Impressions but I have not yet seen the clicks and repen my photos only the bots who repen my photos
I wonder is this it is because I am at the beginning and the clicks will increase with time or I make mistakes ?

Thanks for all your contributions to this thread. I have read many of your threads, and you stand above nearly everyone else on this site in terms of helping people out with solid, actionable ideas.

What would be the main things I should keep in mind to be able to grow my Pinterest account efficiently? I am pro-organic growth, and prefer to offer quality content as I keep a genuine engagement.
I am starting on a new project and I have only used it before to save pins, as a personal account.

Any key elements? Thank you in advance!

Pinterest is pretty much dead. There are many, many other places for you to spend your time that will be more effective. Could you possibly get some traction here or there? Sure. But ultimately, it all comes down to dollars earned divided by time spent, and that number will be very low for Pinterest relative to other platforms. This is coming from someone that spent 2 years on it and wrote a bot that generated thousands of accounts. It makes so little for me today that it isn't worth even the bandwidth that it takes to run my bot, or the 5 mins/day it would take to keep it running.
