SEO Powersuite - Search algo updates Subscription

Hi

Last year I purchased the SEO powersuite for lifetime access at a fixed price. However, it's been 6 months now and they have sent an email informing that the search algo updates have expired and I need to renew the algo updates subscription.

My concern is that these algo updates are expensive and there was no point of claiming life time access by the company when they are charging for such subscription now.

The 12 months discounted price comes to be $314.

Has anyone faced this issue and is there any way to negotiate the pricing with them? I tried reaching out to them for negotiation but they are reluctant to reduce any price.

I would probably just suggest having algo updates for what you use, as that saves money, website auditor doesn't need algo updates for 99% of its functionality, LinkAssistant just sucks and you may not need spyglass if you have any alternative. That way you are only paying the algo updates for rank tracker and maybe spyglass which is much cheaper. also if you get 1 month of rank tracker algo updates you can bump it to 6 with https://www.link-assistant.com/news/system-status.html

They always use this shady tactic, it's better if you wait for blackfriday or any other promotion to buy a whole year updated than buying now

have not been using my Enterprise license all these years due to these algo update subscriptions... I mean they should have atleast priced them realistically... I can ahrefs and other tools with the same algo update subscription costs...

I purchased it long back and same thing happened to me and there was a full refund that time and i applied for it and the refund was granted.

God saved me lol

I stopped using my Enterprise license due to these algo updates, as you said they are not cheap. As stated above only rank tracker is worth updating (buying algo updates). However, if you are sharing reports with corporate clients, website auditor has nice white label reports which I used to use a lot.

I too felt the same - they employ a shady technique by saying lifetime access tbh.

Just my 2 cents, but given the expensive of the updates... semrush and Ahrefs seem more valuable than SEO powersuite..

Imho, only rank tracker worth the algo subscription. I stop paying subscription for other 3 services. Web auditor still works well for me to audit site without additional feature that need algo update.

yeah, even i have enterprise and personal lifetime license. but for now i only use rank tracker for the personal license. try ask for discount. previously i ask discount at black friday. i get 48 months of a subscription while paying for 36 months. i am asking for discount because i have 2 lifetime license and had using their service for 2-3 years.
